Hey sorry if this is off topic but I wanted to hear some opinions on what game I should purchase for my my son and I. I took my 6 year old to his first a Jets game in the Miami game last month. He loved it but the poor kid was freezing and I want to try and go to a take him to a September/October game if possible. I’m thinking about the Buffalo game which I think is late October or the Pats game after that but not sure which are home games yet. Anyway any opinions I would greatly appreciate. Thanks Guys!!!
Both games will be loaded with opposing fans who will travel to Met Life. I would try to go to Tampa or Jacksonville. Not sure what the dates are but it will be a friendly atmosphere.

After looking at what WRs are available in FA and what they’ve been signing for I wouldn’t care if Anderson signed for around $12 a year.
If Anderson could run a slant or drag and do something besides running oit of bounds, i would agree.

Robby has speed. I like Higgins catch radius so I was favoring him.
Anderson won't be signed. You think he's worth the money he wants?
Also, I think I read Ruggs was clocked at 25 mph on one catch and run thos season. He would get speeding tickets in a school zone.

I’m not sure on that one either. I didn’t watch that much college football this year as I normally do so I missed a lot of players. I’d be happy with any of the top WRs in the first two rounds. As long as it’s not a DL or S.
Ruggs is the fastest guy of the bunch. I think speed a WR is the most needed thing on this team.

The problem with that is that if we only add 1 FA and 2 prospects, we are starting Edoga and Harrison. IIRC, those are the only 2 guys under contract, unless you are keeping Winters on board. The rest of those slots have to be filled, with retreads or otherwise.
Beachum has to be signed as an insurance policy if anything. They probably keep guys like Lewis who should be cheap and maybe Shell. I doubt they keep Winters. How many years have we been waiting for him to show something. Maybe cut him and if he clears waivers, bring him back at the vet minimum.

This is too funny. 80 just retold the facts. You counter with the facts aren’t true because of what you imagine both QBs are thinking.
There is no doubt that Mahomes is the better QB but he also knows he had guys like Hill, Watkins, Robinson, and Kelce that can make plays for him when he needs one. Who on the Jets does Sam know will make a play when he needs it.

Not taking anything away from Sam...but have you ever seen him scramble around and make the kind of plays mahomes did yesterday?
Mahomes lifted that team helping get guys open.
Yeah, I have. What QB have you neem watching. I believe the 2 Pt conversion against the Bills is the kind of play you are talking about.

DeMarcus Robinson made 3 crucial drops in the first half, including 2 on third down plays, contributing heavily to them starting the game down 24-0.
There's a chance Sam would have collapsed after that. Mahomes just shrugged his shoulders and put up 50+ points.
We get it. Mahomes has an amazing set of circumstances around him. He's still a special QB. Sam is a work in progress. He wouldn't be doing anything close to what Mahomes is doing if he were a Chief. He just wouldn't.
That isn't true
Mahomes knows he has the horses to compete, with Sam, it's all onnhis shoulders righr now
That is a huge difference

What is crystal clear to me is how good Mahomes is...he is why they are so successful! Put any other QB on that team and they may score 1/2 the points they do now.
They did pretty well with Alex Smith

Hypothetical proposed by...
Personally, I would not. I know what we have in Sam, we are lucky enough to have gotten him and we need to build round him. As good as Burrow may become, he is a huge question mark.
But I know there are a lot of Burrow fans out there and a lot of Darnold doubters who may disagree.
Thoughts?
My thought is you must be extremely board. Do you have any idea how many tines this same thread has been posted?

I met Bradshaw. He was a speaker at an event my company was running. He isn't as stupid as he seems on tv.

Absolutely. As bad as what the Astros did the Pats have done this many times and gotten caught multiple times with just a slap on the wrist. So you are absolutely right!!
This is actually pretty bad for the Pats. I'm sure the NFL os not going to want to be seen as not being strict enough in this current investigation. On top of it, the Pats are no longer a hot ticket.

What makes you think Sam is mobile? I mean he can roll out but he doesn’t run with the ball very well.
I don't agree. Sam is not Jackson or Watson mobile but the guy can out run players well enough to get forst downs when the field is open in front of him

Did you see those offensive play call especially by Andy Reid the one that most here didn’t want just like MM, another washed up HC.
Tell me after watching the Fraud for a year here that you have confidence of seeing half of those plays being implemented here. Yesterday you saw a real offensive guru not someone being happy carrying coffee for an already hall of fame.
I just want to see the aspect of mobile QB play being utilized. It is apparent that you need to have that as part of your offensive package.

Cool. However to be honest, the above reads different than the below.
There's a difference betweeen Gase making him into something that he isnt, and Darnold not taking what the defense is giving to him in the rushing department.
I just didnt get that from your initial comment. It sounded like you were concerned that Gase was forcing Darnold to do something that limited his game, while these other QB's that you named flourished under better coaching/talent.
Your second paragraph isn't so far off the mark. I do believe that Gase doesn't coach to Darnolds strengths. We all know how good he is while passing on the run. Even at this early stage, i think Darnold does this as good if not better than any other QB. We saw very little of this, mostly due to Sam getting murdered and not having anywhere to run but there was practically no design for this by Gase. That means to me that Gase is wanting him to stay in the pocket. I think he needs to show Sam had you run here, we have a first down.

Most NFL experts had the Seahawks as an 11 win playoff team.
Most NFL experts had the Jets as a 7 win also-ran.
Both teams met the expectations of NFL experts. I believe you were so down on Gase you had us at 4-12. WTF are you complaining about other than complaining for the sake of complaining?
SAR I
I started a thread about how Sam should take advantage of situations where he can run, you turned it into a thread about Gase and wins and loses. Maybe ask yourself why you feel a need defend Gase when someone mentions him more a side note like I hope he isn't trying to make Sam a pure drop back passer when all the QB's in the playoffs run and maybe you will have your answer

Sorry, was looking at the wrong year.
Just try to go to a game where the opposing fans need to get on a plane to come to the stadium.
