The post game interviews with Brady and Belichick really make it seem like he's not too interested in being on the Patriots. I don't know how many teams are really going to line up to pay him a ton, he didn't really look that good this year.

Someone will hoping he can recapture his old form. A lot of talking heads are blaming thr Pats as much as him for not getting him help oitside of Brown who became a public relations disaster  they weren't  able to handle

    - Best Wild Card weekend for the Jets since 2010

    - Josh Allen imploded

    - Brady won't be on the Pats next year

    - Saints got screwed

    - Josh McCown is still the man

    - Thank God we didn't take DK Metcalf with that terrible 3 cone drill

Brady will be back with the Pats next season. If he didn't  throw that pick 6, i would say it's  50/50 but he is going to want to cone back and show everyone he was right to stay this long. This should be fine with everyone. Over the last two seasons, Brady has gotten progressively worse. That trend should continue.

    I would prefer Titans v 49ers

Vrable or Garrapolo winning would really rub salt into BB and Bradys wounds.

Letting Jimmy G go really looks so fvcking dumb now.

You have to wonder how Kraft feels about overruling BB on that decision.

Brady will be back next season on a one year deal. Right now part of his legacy is playing badly at the end of his career. I don't  think getting him more help will work because that last pass should never have been thrown. That was a Geno Smith moment.

If the Jets Drafted Brady they would not even have known what they had people on this board would have been making fun of him on a daily basis posting his draft pic and he probably would not have even seen the field cause Mo Lewis could not tackle his own QB

Part of the question was enjoted the same level of success but whatever

Obviously I meant from from the interior DL or edge rushing DE/OLB spots. They don’t create holes in the secondary when they rush the passer. Blitzing a safety does that, unless you like the sight of a LB dropping into coverage instead of a DB.

I'm kind of the opinionnif the S's responsibility is a TE or RB and they stay in to block, he should be rushing the QB. A lot of Jets fans don't  seem to think that's  the case.

    Pretty spot on.

I’d give Austin an A+ so far, given how he’s already exceeded any expectations for a 7th round pick at a premium position, just by being a good starter for half of one season. But I’d take a little away from Edoga who is not a B- player. Only reason he even saw the field is due others’ train wrecks and injuries. So far he’s terrible.

Sure there are obvious caveats that Williams can start to look like an A pick next year if he provides relentless QB pressure up the middle all year, making the lack of an edge rusher less of a factor (do we honestly care where the pressure comes from?) — but until then he’s a D pick, since we can get his rookie production from a mid-rounder or later in any draft.

Apparently we do when it comes from a S.

    Here's my grades:

    1. (#3)Quinnen WilliamsDT: I'm a fan, B (because it allowed flexibility to trade Leonard Williams for draft capital)
    2. (#68)Jachai PoliteDE: FAIL
    3. (#92)Chuma EdogaOT: Showed ability, needs to build strength C
    4. (#121)Trevon WescoTE: Showed flashes, B-
    5. (#157)Blake CashmanLB: Potential, but injured INC
    6. (#196)Blessuan AustinCB: Diamond in the rough...A+

    Overall, I give it a B-

I mean, certainly not the worst I've seen...

You're  being very generous with your grades

Sure if Kraft steps in again who knows what transpires. Gut says BB stays, they draft a QB, sign Bridgewater and ho hum to 12 wins and the division again.

Brady was key to saving BB job. They were on there way to losing big tine with Bledsoe. I know He had success with other QB's but i really feel when McDaniel bails, there will be too much change. New OC, New QB, New System= loss

If you thought you knew how spoiled the fan base of the Patriots were, you definitely did not know it was this bad.

During the Wild card loss against the Tennessee Titans — Tom Brady threw for only 209 yards and failed to tally a touchdown pass, with his final throw coming via an interception returned for a touchdown by Titans’ cornerback Logan Ryan to seal the win for Tennessee.

It sent the Patriots into the offseason filled with more questions than answers.

After the game Tom Brady said, “I don’t know what the future looks like, and I’m not going to predict it.” When asked if there was a possibility that he would retire, Brady answered, “I would say it’s pretty unlikely, hopefully unlikely.”

Well, if it was up to one Patriots fan, his career either needs to end right now or he needs to take his talents to the Chargers.

A Patriots fan took his Brady jersey and set it on fire while delivering a fiery comment to the best QB in NFL history.

“@Patriots @TomBrady RETIRE OR GO TO THE CHARGERS. YOURE A SYSTEM QB. BELICHICK WON ALL 6 & CAN WIN WITHOUT YOU.”

The more I see the quotes the more it seems like brady wants to play but belicheat wants to move on.

It would be nuts to bring him in for a single season at his age.

he may look over his offers in March and then retire

Personally, I thought he started to regress last season and this year he was possibly worse than any other season he has played. The Pats have been lucky  they get 4 layups with the Jets and Fins and until recently the Bills made it 6. Even with the Bills overall improvement, they still couldn't  beat them this season even though they made it a game.

Yes. If we had drafted some guy named John Grady, out of Wisconsin 20 years ago, and he had taken us to 6 SB victories and 20 years of dominance without a shred of controversy or any allegations of systemic cheating....and John had a bad game last night for us I would let him stay as long as he wanted,  because he had earned that right.

But Tawmmy Brady? **** that guy.

Not realistic.  If he got you 20 years of dominance  and 6 SB, you would look the other way. Anyone would. I understand your point as a Jets fan looking at the Pats organization  but not if all this happened on the Jets.
