  1. He’s 29 years old and just had a dominant year in this system. How bout we try to extend him instead of trading him? Crazy thought I know considering Jets never extend anyone, but could be the right move
  2. Giants already have Mckinney and Panthers have Chinn so I don’t think they would take him. Maybe the Falcons would. Denver has Justin Simmons so I can’t see them really taking him either. It’d be a gamble but it’d be amazing if we could land Hamilton at 10
  3. Exactly, I’d much rather give McGovern an extension (only 29 years old) than draft a center 10th overall
  4. McGovern is only 29 years old and settling in very nice for us in this system. How bout we get some continuity with our line and keep him where he is. I’d rather give McGovern an extension than draft another center with the 10th overall pick
  5. I agree, like I said offer him a fair contract. I’d say $5m max a year for him. If someone else is willing to pay more so be it
  6. He’s a kick returner let’s relax ourselves acting like he’s the second coming of Wes Welker. He had 430 yards last year getting ample playing time due to injuries. I’d offer him a fair contract but no sweat if he leaves. Main focus should be getting a big time outside WR for Zach
  7. Lol so just take that position no matter who the player is? Ok makes sense
  8. I’m sure Douglas will either sign a guy and or draft one
  9. Jets aren’t drafting one of these WRs 4th overall.. go do some research on this draft it’s not looking to good. Hamilton is probably one of the best guys in the draft
  10. So who? Give a name. There’s literally no offensive player that deserves to be the 4th overall pick unless you’re referring to an offensive lineman which is not exactly a pressing need
  11. Honestly this draft is so bad and sitting at 4 is such a toss up I’d just take Hamilton if he is the real deal. I’m not taking Karlaftis 4th overall. Then at 10 we can take Karlaftis or Ojobo
  12. Well Jets desperately need a safety and Saleh relies heavily on safety play in his cover 3 scheme, so Hamilton is an ideal target
  13. It takes two to tango, not just magic act where JD says ok give me an extra 1st round pick for next year! Jets fans keep talking about trading down are going to be seriously disappointed. I’d give it like a 5% chance of happen
  14. So who the heck in their right mind would trade up then in this draft
  15. Yeah but there’s a flip side to that, nobody is trading up! I don’t see a scenario where we trade down at all
  16. Nobody has ever put up a 5000 yard season at age 45! Big Ben is 6 years younger and he looked like a corpse out there this year. That’s why Brady is the GOAT. Mahomes has much higher odds of being done in his late 30s than he does putting up 5000 yard seasons at age 45
  17. It’s funny nobody has any idea who they want to pick. Everyone just says “trade down” lol
  18. Mahomes will have to average 4400 yards a season for the next 15 years (age 42 season) to touch Brady. And like I said, if Brady goes for another 5000 next year nobody is coming close
  19. The only guy who might come close to Bradys record is Mahomes. Problem for him is that Brady still putting up 5000 yard season in his age 45 year. Mahomes will be 27 next year and assuming he has 10 years of elite numbers left he’ll still come up short. Same thing with Kyler and Herbert, they’d literally need to put up 5000 yards for about 20 years. And if Brady puts up ANOTHER 5000 yard season next year? Nobody will ever touch him
  20. No trades, let’s see who ya got. For me it’s Best Case: 4- Thibodeaux 10- Hamilton Worst Case: 4: Karlaftis 10: Linderbaum
  21. I guess if there comfortable with the Purdue kid then no worries, I know he didn’t have a lot of sacks tho
  22. I mean the Jets desperately need an edge and have 5000 draft picks. It wouldn’t be worth it securing either Thibs or Hutchinson?
