  1. I would give the first draft a B-. I would’ve take wirfs over beckon. I like Becton but I thought and still think wirfs is the safer long term option. Although becton has more upside. Mims and Davis both flashed talent but couldn’t stay healthy. Perrine did nothing. Hall in my opinion was the steal of the jets draft. I think he’s a starter in the league and he fits salahs system perfectly. Overall the draft was decent. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  2. I’d draft Fields and sit him for a year so he can get fully familiar with the west coast system which is not easy to learn. Then you still have the 2 Seattle picks and the jets own future picks to build a team. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app

  4. It’s almost impossible to scout Jones. He’s looked great all year but that team is so stacked. D. smith was wide open all game and Harris requires a ton of attention. It won’t be so easy in the nfl. I can’t remember many good quarterbacks coming out recently with so so arms and no mobility who were good. I think it’s too big of a risk. 6. I think Sam is worth a late 2 or early 3 Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  7. They should pull fields at halftime. The Clemson d is playing terrible and lost 2 key players. Ohio state should win anyway. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  8. This will play out in time. Sam is young and was a top ten pick. He will have an opportunity to play elsewhere. If he continues to turn the ball over like crazy, throw with horrible mechanics and to fail to read even the simplest of defenses, then it’s fair to conclude its his fault. If he steps up and plays consistently good football, the jets were at fault. I strongly predict it is the former. He’s just not good. This was a big swing and miss by McCagnan. Another Sanchez, geno smith or Richard Todd. A bust. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  9. First game this year. Making same stupid mistakes he did his rookie year. Throwing late over the middle, taking a delay of game after a kickoff and running out of bounds for a four yard loss when he easily could’ve thrown it away. His football iq is zero. 10. The first strip sack wasn’t Sam’s fault. A good qb would’ve sensed the second one and avoided the fumble. He’s still horrible. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  11. I agree the guy clearly doesn’t wants to play for the team. I suspect as well he’ll get “hurt” early in the season and that will be the end of his career here. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  12. The fans who still believe in darnold are delusional. He has sucked for 4 years in a row. His last year in usc and 3 years here. He turns the ball over, can’t read a defense and constantly under throws deep balls. Simply put, he’s not a good quarterback. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  13. Quinnon has really stepped up. Let’s build around him, Becton and mimms. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  14. He grew up in Chicago and played for northwestern. He convinced northwestern to build a beautiful new practice facility. His team is 5-0. Why would he leave to come to this mess? Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
