1- That Sam Darnold is still throwing picks, over throwing wide open guys and looking generally terrible

2- Matt Rhule trying to convince himself that Darnold being absolutely awful is actually a good thing

They are both downright hysterical I cant choose.

The funniest thing is that douches like you still are dissing Darnold. You are an absolute fool to keep beating Darnold into the ground  for playing with absolute garbage for 3 years. I am here to tell you that with a competent coaching staff and competent players around him, that he is going to make dopes like you show everyone the fools you truly are..

I’m hoping we actually have a football season? Looking forward to comparing Darnold and Allen/Mayfield’s QB numbers for the 2020 season.

Plus Seeing you root so hard for the Jets every week..

    I’m right with Jets aren’t I?

How can this Trolly McTrollface be a Jets fan....he just tries to rile up the real fans. I don't involve myself in his nonsense, I just down vote his absolute senselessness. That really bothers him. LOL...When his BF buddy Adams was tearing the team in the media, this moron backed him 100%, then he goes after Sam in every of his posts while touting other teams QBs, to get under real fans skin, and of course he is completely wrong. He is nothing but a tool.

LOL. Stay hydrated. It's hot out there.

I'll "consider" Douglas a genius when I see how his picks pan out.

Today he got back the going rate for top defensive backs like Ramsey, Fitzpatrick and Adams. You want to act like he invented the wheel? Go for it. It's a good day for Jets fans. We're all happy, have fun. Nobody really cares now how incredibly wrong you were.

Ok Troll....from Adams getting 100 million  contact  to this nonsense is a stretch. You can't even see who the real fool is, turn around and look in the mirror.

    Props to you.

9 pages in, and you're the first guy to say "I thought we'd get a bag of balls for him..." Meanwhile a ton of amateur GMs here were saying the same thing. Remember all the "he's just a box safety" BS?

Adams shot his way out of town, and after this week when he went after the owner and HC, anyone with a brain knew he was gone.

I loved Adams as a player, and wanted to keep him. However it was obvious that Douglas had decided not to give him a new deal. I was always okay with trading him if we had to, as long as we got a good return for him. We did. In fact I think we did great here. Hopefully in 3 years or so we see the benefits of this deal.

Lesson learned? Anytime the leaders of the Jamal bashers here ever try to tell you what a player's trade value is again, don't pay them any mind. They don't know s**t.

And there was one amateur GM on here who was giddy that Adams would get 20 million a year after an edge rusher and FQ got contracts, but then after Adams put down the GM and Coach he went off the grid. So to put it bluntly, you don't know sh*t and it is about time you admitted it.

I've invited him several times!  To no avail.  :(

Maybe @GATA can try?  She's a far better recruiter!

Jetsfan, l never received an invite,,,lol  try again, and, what exactly happens in the mafia forum? sounds interesting

  6. Robby Anderson, did everyone forget about him?

Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson was arrested early Friday morning in Florida and is facing nine charges, the Broward (Fla.) County Sherriff's Office confirmed to the New York Daily News

According to a police report obtained by ESPN's Rich Cimini, a car Anderson was driving was clocked as 105 mph in a 45 mph zone, and he also ran multiple red lights. After he was pulled over, Anderson apparently threatened to sexually assault the officer's wife. The arrest happened in Sunrise, Fla. and the nine charges he faces are: resisting an officer/obstruction without violence; harm to a public servant or family; fleeing/eluding while lights/siren active; reckless driving; failure to drive in a single lane; two counts of disobeying/avoiding a red light; speeding; and turning without a signal.

The Jets are aware of the arrest, per Cimini. Anderson was also arrested on a felony charge of resisting arrest with violence and obstruction of police last year after an altercation at a concert in Miami. He is set to appear in court for a trial hearing in March.

Was Mac not a professional? lol  You were celebrating having the clowns out and having the professionals in the last time there was a regime change.  Big Mac was referred by Casserly and Wolfe, real Football executives.  You have a short/selective memory.

Benefit of what doubt?  If Jamal wants to leave because he doesnt like the organization and thinks they suck, cool.  More power to him.  Until further notice, his opinion has merit.  While you think just having Joe Douglas here makes the Jets legit, I think most will wait to see if he can win first but hey, you do you.  All good.

Jamal is a punk.  He's a me first diva.  He's not a leader.  I disagree with his approach.  That said, I have no problem with him wanting to leave the Jets if he's not happy here.  I have left companies for similar reasons.  Unfortunately for Jamal, in his profession, it's not that easy.

The problem is that JAMAL has 2 more years on a contract he signed. He is nothing but a narcissistic phony who is in a nonessential position and has no leverage. I hope JD does nothing with him until his contract is up and let him holdout or play under his contract. If the Jets were in any way going to give him an extension, I believe by his behavior he has destroyed that option.

    Classy as always, aren’t you?

    Yeah I like Jamal.

What can I say, I like good players on my team.

    btw I like Gase too.

If you think, Adams is classy in any way then you are 100 percent wrong..sorry... if you think he would be a good addition to this team with a  new contract..you are absolutely wrong ..as far as the contract that he wants it is too high...hopefully we can get some compensation that is acceptable.....I trust JD.

Forget the headline of this thread, it wasn’t a “hit piece.”

This piece was nothing more than Barnwell’s evaluation of Darnold. He’s done the same with other QBs, it’s not like he’s out to get Sam here.

He talked about weakness in his game we all know are there.

He talked about the poor OL play, and lack of skill players to help him.

He talked about how Gase really could’ve helped him more.

As far as evaluations go, I thought it was very fair. He brought up areas where Sam hasn’t been good, gave him blame where he deserved it, gave reasons for why he wasn’t always the culprit, and talked about the possibility of Darnold overcoming those issues and allowed for him succeeding in the NFL.

Well isn't that nice of you to say. Lets get off the fence here, you have put Darnold down every change you can here, every thread. At the same time being a big Jamal supporter. I have never seen more of a Troll (Trolly) in any forum.

That's great, Elmer. You also know how to construct a sentence properly, unlike the other genius.

I'd love to hear more, but I have to get ready for my 1052 tee time. It's at the Golf Club I belong to down here in MB, not the one I belong to on Long Island. 😉

Well aren't you something special? Are you related to SAR I? Personally, I don't care about anything you do or where you live or golf. Do you always try to put someone down you don't agree with by bragging about personal belongings? Sounds like the kids in my grandsons kindergarten class.

  11. The NFL is the most profitable League in sports, owners are making million, or billions. Why every year are they changing long established rules that I believe don't improve the game? There is an old saying, "if it is not broken, don't fix it." If it doesn't make sense, don't change it. The first year that they play the Super Bowl in another country is the day I will give up the NFL..money runs every aspect in this time, but to screw over the real fans is too much.

    Cool story.

As I said, it's May and that article is looking at 2019, which is over, and in which Buffalo was the better team, a playoff team.

Sam being "better" by some thin stat margin in a few stats in 2019 means very little now.  That season is over.

It's also funny, because Jets Fans have constantly said Allen sucks, but Sam is barely ahead of him in a few production metrics (and well behind in others).  Being a tiny bit better than a guy who "sucks" isn't really high praise, or a high bar is it?

I'm more interested in looking forward.

Will the "best QB in the AFC East" produce to starting QB average or above levels in the major QB production stats, passing yards, TD's, etc.

Will he play all 16 games in 2020?  Will he throw for over 4,000 yards?  Throw 30 TD's?  Throw less than 15 INT's?

That's what I care about.  I'll save my praise for after Sam, the 27th rated QB in the NFL in 2019, actually earns it in 2020.  And all I am asking for is average at least.  15th rated or better.

Why don't you save all your pessimistic opinions till then too! We all have heard them too many times already.

I get what you’re saying, but I’m not sure If Its really relevant however.

There have always been plenty of black coaches at various levels, from high school, college and as assistants in the pros. Is it really possible so few of these men are qualified?

Im convinced the problem, if there really is one, is with ownership. If the league really wants to diversify, that’s where it has to start.

This is still America. Then buy one of the teams, easier said then done.
