  1. Well, you're not wrong there. Thomas had a big drop last Monday night and it was all downhill from there. Do really want another one of our castoffs?
  2. No indication of that here in NE... Still, look what happened last year. Sanu is more dependable OFF the field. Gordon may clear waivers and return to the Pats, but more likely, Harry is good to go.
  3. He's in decline. He's no longer a dynamic receiver. Actually, only a shadow of what he was last year.
  4. How did any of you think this was going to turn out ANY other way?
  5. So, while I was responding, you posted. Fans from 2 different teams acknowledge the same facts. Honestly, it doesn't happen often...
  6. He was misdiagnosed by the Redskins quacks. He had a some sort of growth on his head and the doctors screwed it up. He told the team to either fire the medical staff or he wouldn't play for them. You guys aren't the only team being run by clowns...
  7. This is all a ruse because he doesn't want to play for the Skins. He could have tried on a helmet anytime over the last several weeks...
  8. But as someone mentioned earlier, the Johnsons are the constant in the whole mess. In order to change the culture, you need to get competent ownership or you'll never escape. It took Kraft to buy the Patriots in 1994 to turn things around. John Henry for the Red Sox. Look what has happened to the Redskins since "Mr." Snyder bought the team. They were once a flagship franchise! Now just another laughingstock. I'm sorry, but you might have to wait a loooong time before they willingly give up the team.
  9. How's that working for the Knicks? Dolan is regarded as one of the worst owners in all of sports. He's right there with the Johnsons, Haslam, Snyder, and a host of others. Has fan outrage ever succeeded? There are too many fans metro area that the games will be well attended and watched. Even in stadiums where fans (of that team) don't show up, the stadium fills with opposing fans. For example Patriots at Jets, Redskins, Dolphins. Steelers at Chargers. Any team in Cincy.
  10. This comes as absolutely no surprise to anyone. We knew the Jets o-line was no good and Bell wouldn't have any space to run. The only surprising thing is that he didn't suddenly get a phantom "injury" yet and quit on the team.
  11. Mangidiot is a scumbag. Sleepy Mike should stick to horse racing...
  12. Only a fool thought Gase was going to be successful. The Johnsons are the real issue with your team. As long as Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Dumber are running the show, the Jets will remain a laughingstock...
  13. BB is 28-0 at home against QBs who are 25 years old and younger...
  14. My chin is up... I'm not a Jets fan... I'm a Tom Shane fan though... Jags=loss Fish=win Gints=win
  15. Everyone was SO excited about Gase's 2-4 record against the Patriots...
  16. Here's where you'll see what Darnold is made of...
  17. You seem to be a bit testy, but I don't know why. I don't think I wrote anything to set you off. I agree with the Buffalo and Dallas wins. However, Monday night was the measuring stick for the state of the Jets... Darnold was seeing ghosts and Gase was Gase. He sucks as a HC. The Jets' issues start with the ownership and their buffoonery. This team will NEVER get better until the team gets sold...
  18. Wasn't there an entire thread about "Gase's great record against NE" when he was hired? And that being the reason the genius owners hired him?
  19. You all embraced Gase because "Gase's record against the Patriots." He was something like 2-4...
  20. We were holding our collective noses when BB signed this race baiting, cop hating, D-bag. Good riddance! BB just wanted him and his salary gone, that's why the low pick. He wasn't playing anyway and he started running his mouth. Look for NE to make another move or 2 before the trade deadline.
  21. Mallett was touted as having a big arm, but a 10 cent head. Right on both counts! Didn't he say something idiotic while on the Texans and get suspended or released?
  22. Cassell was never drafted to replace Brady. Nor was Malletthead. Not even Brissett. Only Jimmy G and Stidham were.
  23. It's actually cheaper for us to fly to cities that have bad teams, get a hotel room, and get good seats to the game than it is to get a good seat at Gillette. We do the same with the Sox too. For those of us who live in Maine, NH, and VT, it actually takes less time to fly to Florida than to drive to Gillette. Portland to DC is about a 90 minute flight.
