This makes sense . I was thinking that they would hire an OC who could fix Zach. Then go with Zach and a vet next year. No one special just a decent guy to backup Zach. Since Woody is forcing them to start Zach he can’t fire them if Zach sucks again. I think this talk of him getting a QB who’s any good is BS. He is forcing Zach on them and there getting a free year to do it. mLF was told this but lifted cause it’s not going to work and his rep will take a big hit if he stays around Zach anymore . I hope I’m wrong .

    You're definitely wrong.

Already got Leon, let's call up Coles!

Honestly, why the **** not? I could see a really unique thing start to happen in the locker room if they did that.

Couple guys that love the organization and have/would still give anything for it to succeed.

NJ Is cold last quarter of season-carr cant play in the cold-hard pass

In his seven games played in temperatures below 37 degrees, Derek Carr has only ever tossed one touchdown in each on average, and he has passed for 222 yards only once.

1 more TD per game than our last 3 QBs have thrown in the same conditions..

    So I'll ******* take it.

If they seriously want him, I think the Jets have to work out a trade.

The Jets aren’t going to outbid anybody on the open market.

    it’s not Douglas’ M.O.

No matter what is said... JD ain't making that decision.

    🤡 RS: But.. But..

🤓 WJ: Joe, give Salad a multiple choice list

    😴 JD: Wh..what? Yes sir.

I think it would have to be "agreed in principle" but not official until start of the new league year in March.

Same thing that happened when Washington traded for Alex Smith I believe. They agreed and did it sometime after the regular season ended but before the league year began.

It's was Saleh and JD for sure. They knew he sucked. Everyone does. They gave him all the rope in the world and it's work . Everyone knows the Business. La fluer knows he messed up and cost them play offs, coach of the year etc. He also knows he can't get the offense to work so his best bet is elsewhere. Everyone s best bet. This idea Saleh didn't make the call with Joe is ridiculous

Yes you're right... after Woody told them to do it.

One could view the MLF firing as clearing the deck for Rodgers. Can’t imagine he would be happy leaving a bad relationship with Matt LaFleur to come play for his baby bro.

It’s a stretch but we are in speculation season.

I actually didnt even consider that.

    You're thinking what I’m thinking?

Woody is about to dust off his HS school playbook.

Owner turned Offensive Guru, Woody Johnson, is about to right this ship.

He would still score more TDs than a Lafleur offense.

I mean seem like the opposite of clown show, any well run ream would sack the off coordinator after this type of season. Not just rationalizing poor performance with injuries or Z wilson is sign of a mature GM doing the right things for the team. Especially when you factor in who the HC is and his relationship with Lafluer.

Im sure didnt want to fire him, but his boy put him in a bad spot. I am sure he and Joe came up wiht this hole persue other opportunities thing....well Im msure that Joe Douglas informed Saleh that is how you can handle it if you think another Off coordinator would be best for the team.

Good job Joe and Saleh for makign the right choice. We dont need a bad Off Coordinator on top of bad play at QB.

The mistake youre making here is thinking JD or Saleh came up with the idea to let Lafleur go.

    1) GM drafts sh-tty QB #2 overall

    2) Shi-ty #2 overall QB plays like sh-t

    3) Owner demands pound of flesh

    4) GM directs HC to fire OC

    Jesus this is dense.

    How about?

1 GM hires sh*tty no experience offensive coordinator

    2 GM drafts sh*tty QB

3 sh*tty no experience offensive coordinator amazingly cant develop sh*tty QB

4 sh*tty no experience offensive coordinator also doesnt succeed with 2 other QBs

5 sh*tty no experience offensive coordinator loses his job

6 sh*tty QB most likely gets benched for FA vet

    Facts

this is a clown show yet again, scapegoating LaFleur isn’t going to save BYU, Saleh or JD

Woody should just clean house now

They didnt scapegoat anyone. He deserved this for damn sure, make no doubt about that.

With that being said, it is still a clown show and the team still isnt going to be saved by this.
