  1. Much too early to talk about getting rid of Sam. He is a superbly talented player, who is terribly misused by the Jets. Crappy coaching, shaky o- line and terrible receivers. He has the worst situation of ant QB in the league. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  2. How will we ever know if Darnold is the guy or not. With his supporting cast no QB would excel. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  3. Before we go after Douglas let’s see how his draft picks performs, so far Becton looks great, Mann the punter looks good too. Why do we have all these hamstring injuries. On top of everything else do we have to wonder about trainers and medical stuff. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  4. So we have Becton, Quinnen played a good game today. Who else showed up? Can’t think of anybody. We ‘re going nowhere so why nor raid other team’s practice Squads and see if anything sticks! Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  5. JD should have kept Robbie. Compared to this group he was a superstar. Also, not drafting or trading for any receivers put Sam in a horrible spot. In this desperate situation some money or draft capital should have been spent. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  6. We don’t need to tank. The way this team is playing it will fall in our lap. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  7. Don’t blame Darnold- he has the worst receiving group in modern history. No team has less talent, offensively or defensively. Don’t talk about injuries: look at San Fran- with devastating injuries everywhere and with a back up Qb they toyed with this pitiful team. Get rid of Gase tomorrow and find receivers than get open! 8. This team is horrible. This time the defense was even more inept than the offense. Don’t blame Darnold. No qb could win with this group. I thought the Buffalo game was the Jets lowest point. I was wrong. The bottom has fallen out. I have watched the Jets during the Kotie years. They-were better coached then- honestly . Gase must go. Williams was a dude in this game to. Jets at this point are almost unwatchable...number one pick is getting more and more likely Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  9. Wonder why Douglas isn’t signing players from other teams practice squads? We are so lacking in talent!! Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  10. Sam was pressing last week. Trying to hard to be the savior. Surround him with some weapons and he will be fine. He has too much talent to be given up on. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  11. I’d give up a third for Robinson. We might be 0-4 before Mims come back and sitting out as long as he has he won’t be far from ready.Douglas hates to give up draft picks but the way we’re going we might totally ruin Darnold. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  12. Our wide receiver situation is horrible. I know that Darnold played like a she’ll chocked rookie last week but his surrounding cast is below average. I believe that his performance or lack there of has more to do with a lack of confidence than anything else. He seemed jittery. Maybe playing all last year behind an awful o- line has messed with his mechanics. This year’s line is better but he isn’t trusting them yet. Just give him some weapons and see what’s happen. Am not ready to throw him under the bus yet. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  13. Maybe if a few of our receivers get healthy we can get a three or four wins. With the lack of talent and bad coaching that might be all we can hope for. I would bring in some young guys from PS like Cager and Lamar Jackson. Cager can’t be worse than Hogan and Jackson might be an upgrade over Desir but then who isn’t? Had hoped to see Zuniga, Hull and Clark. Right now the only ones showing promise are Becton, Bless Austin and Mann the punter. Perhaps we have been unlucky with all the injuries but there wasn’t too much talent to start with. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  14. The Jets look every bit as bad as last year. Dumb penalties, missed assignments, no rhythm what so ever. The game was never as close as the score indicated. I thought Maye and Bless did good, Quinnen a la Leo Williams was taken out of the play repeatedly. Darnold seemed to have regressed. A depressing display of incompetence. Last year I thought that these two teams were pretty evenly matched, but now they aren’t even close.our talent level might be the worst in NFL. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  15. Looking at this game it seems to me that the Jets are even worse than last year and candidates for the first pick in the draft. None of the receivers can stretch the field, Darold still makes boneheaded plays. Neither he nor Gase give us fans any hope for the future. I used to think that Darnold was a Qb to boiled around, not so sure any more. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
