  1. Rex left and he went downhill... If Rex stayed, MW would still be on the Jets roster and he'd be productive. Same deal with Sheldon Richardson
  2. Brady stays for two more years and at a price that is friendly to the Pats... BB and Tom have a big old laugh at the rest of the world. They add WR talent in the off season, win the division and another Lombardi... If BB stays with the Pats after Brady leaves either now or in one/two years, I don't think they would be interested in Trevor Lawrence. I'd venture to say that they already have their eye on a few college QB's that none of us are talking about. One that would be the ideal system complimentary passer. Off the charts football IQ with ability to read a defense, decide on the
  3. Either you are employed within the Jets organization or you are so desperate for the Jets to be a good team, your mind is manufacturing its own reality... Which one is it ???
  4. I don't know if you are up on current events, but the Jets have been getting their ass kicked. We're f**ked. We're doomed...
  5. I'd advise caution with Beckton... Of all the top OT prospects, Thomas, Wirfs, Wills, he is the most risky despite his vital statistics. While not a first round pick, it was the same trap the Jets fell in with Vlad Ducasse...
  6. Consider what moves you list up there were McCagnan's and had nothing to do with Johnson. That would be Darnold for one. It would also be Adams (not listed). And try not to forget that Mac was fired because Gase didn't like the Ball deal. Gase himself has been horrible. Not just for the Jets, but for the team that ran him out of town.
  7. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nflvideos/nfl-draft-nobody-has-ever-seen-a-player-this-large-and-this-fast/vi-BB10Hw8l Shades of...
  8. They have the most polished LT going at 29 well after a player like Beckton ??? This is laughable.
  9. You cant blame a single loss on an owner or even the occasional bad season, but you have to blame the owner if the team is constantly in the toilet. Another clue for you would be the revolving door for GM's and HC's. There is no one else left to blame. The only thing in common with all of the failed regimes is JOHNSON.. Don't feel so bad. I am just as guilty as you are. I KNOW what the problem is, but I'm still in here discussing details like offensive line manpower even though I understand the futility of it all...
  10. As if "JOHNSON" should not be right up there with DOLAN and WILPON. New York... World's greatest sports city with the worlds worst owners/operators.
  11. And fanboys will still be waiting for things to get better at the end of next season... The Jets will not have any sustained success on the field until and if... 1. Johnson sells the team and 2. The team is subsequently purchased by an individual with smarts...
  12. I think the compelling question here is... Who is a fan and who is a fan-boy ??? If you don't think Johnson will get in JD's way, you have not been watching the same team I have for MANY years. If JD was his "own man", Gase would already be gone... As of now, JD is not a proven GM. He was at the top of the scouting department with the Ravens but he wast not making final decisions. He was well thought of with the Eagles, but he was not the one making player decisions there either. Add to that, I am not all that impressed with the Eagles past two off seasons. It is debatable how
  13. Have a look at the players that were added while JD was with the Eagles. And keep in mind, you can work under an effective man/woman and observe them, but that is far from any guarantee. Have a look at how Bill Belichick's assistants work out when they sail away on their own... I understand you want to feel positive, but be mindful of who owns the Jets. Johnson didn't have a job until he was 40 years old, and even then, he didn't have a superior to report to nor did he ever have to be accountable to anyone. We are talking about a person with very little life experiences outsid
  14. Nooooo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Conklin not dependable, too expensive and not needed. Thuney no better than Harrison and or Compton and tooo expensive. Draft Thomas, Wills, Wirfs for one OT spot and use Beachum for the other. Draft a center/Interior lineman rounds 3-7. That will be best cost and effective on the field. It wont be a pro-bowl line at all positions, but it is a line that will work, and be economical which will allow them to build on handsomely in the years to come. Too bad Gase sucks.... He'd f**K it up even if he had the Jets 2009-2010 line...
  15. Douglas is unproven and if you take a real good look at what he was involved in with respect to roster choices where he came from, I don't have much confidence in him. As for Gase, we just have to wait for him to make a mess of it for another season before Johnson has no choice but to get rid of him. From that point, we can only hope Johnson/Douglas blunders into hiring an effective HC. What's good ??? There will still be football on Sunday and there will always be individual players that are exciting to watch even while Gase blows another season straight out of his ass...
  16. Would You "Exchange" Daronld For One Of The 2020 QB Prospects ??? I'd exchange him for Justin Herbert...
  17. Edoga may or may not work out on the inside. but he is NOT going to work out on the outside. Thuney is no better than Harrison or Compton. I would not waste any money on Thuney. One of the tackle spots will be held by Beachum and the other will go to the first round draft pick. Two to three of the interior lineman are already on the roster. One to two will be filled in the draft or perhaps one in the draft and one in FA. LT; Thomas or Wirfs Or Wills LG. Compton, Harrison or 5th to 7th round pick. C; Harrison or 2nd to 4th round draft pick RG. Compton, Harrison, Edoga
  18. Winters performed poorly the last two seasons and if I was the GM, Id save the cap money and let him go. Still want to say of Winters... He did his best to soldier on and play with painful injury UNLIKE Osemele. The medical staff told him he could play, but he decided not to.
  19. Is this a joke ??? If Thomas or Wirfs or Wills is on the board for that Jets at 11 and they don't make that pick I will drive my head through a wall. If they pass on one of them for a defensive lineman, I will drive my head through a brick wall...
  20. Burow: "Please Don't Compare Me To Brady https://www.yardbarker.com/college_football/articles/joe_burrow_please_dont_compare_me_to_tom_brady/s1_12680_31433231 Compare me to him, instead...
  21. Lions and Jags not likely to take a QB and the EDGE Chase will be gone before they pick,,, SO.... Ya dg ???
