  1. Here in Cincinnati the Bengals’ defensive line is anxiously awaiting a reunion with Tom Brady on 15 December. The last time the Patriots visited Cincinnati was 2013 and he got beat to a pulp by Geno Atkins and picked off by Adam Jones. I was there and it was epic.
  2. That’s the truth. I’ve been a Bengals fan for decades and we didn’t know how good we had it with Marvin Lewis until he got fired. Marvin wasn’t great but he’s better than this teenager we have now.
  3. Here in Cincinnati when we lose Andy Dalton always gets the blame. It’s terrible and unfair. Our defense can leak like an overfilled diaper and some fans still point to Dalton. It’s the weirdest phobia I’ve ever seen in football. I was at the game today and there were “Draft Joe Burrow!” banners all over the stadium and I know Dalton saw them.
  4. Nice avatar; my current boss is a former B-1 pilot.
  5. We will see next week what happens when Baker Mayfield has to face Geno Atkins, Sam Hubbard, Carlos Dunlap, and the rest of the Cincinnati defense. Personally I hope those guys grind Mayfield into a brown and orange pulp.
  6. Bengals fan here; I was at the game today and the visiting Jets fans in the stadium were classy, kind, and very knowledgeable about the game in general. Thank you. Maybe one of these days we’ll be good again and the Jungle will be filled with fans like it used to be.
  7. I’m a Bengals fan and I wouldn’t trade Sam Darnold for a king’s ransom. You should see how people here in Cincinnati absolutely hate on Andy Dalton for no reason. He’s good! I don’t want Joe Burrow or Tua Tagovailoa in the draft. Darnold and Dalton have the same issue: A horrific offensive line. Unfortunately neither Woody Johnson nor Mike Brown understand this.
  8. The Bengals only have one position group which is executing well: Special Teams. The offense is unusually sloppy and the defense is out of position all the time. The Rams ran slants and crossing patterns to take advantage of the Cincinnati defense which only uses two linebackers — and those guys are slow. You could time their 40 yard dash using a sundial.
  9. Andy Dalton is having a horrible year. He gets no protection at all but his snap to release time is just over two seconds. I’ve been a Bengals fan all my life and I’ve never seen the team this bad.
  10. It’s not a trap game. I’m a Bengals fan and the Jets will have no trouble winning in Cincinnati this weekend. The defense leaks like an overfilled diaper and the offensive line is absolutely horrible. That’s what we get for hiring a teenager as a head coach who hired his loser Miami friends as coordinators. It’s worse than bad.

  12. Bengals fan here — and Frank Pollack only coached the offensive line in 2018. His run blocking scheme was excellent — Joe Mixon led the AFC in rushing — but his pass blocking scheme almost got Andy Dalton hurt.
