Beat writers said Flacco looked great in training camp. Garrett Wilson confirmed he throws a better ball than Zach. Flacco also knows the Steelers and is better prepared to handle the blitz. The Jets should play the QB that gives the team the best chance to win.

Joe Flacco is one of the league leaders in passing yards. The guy has not been the problem.

Joe Namath sold the soul of the franchise.

    We should've drafted Marino.

GFY.  We all could have become Giants or Steelers fans years ago but didn't, because we're stuck with this team. I have no desire to give up being a fan, as that goes back to when I was 10 years old.   Jets fandom runs deeper than how well the team performs.  This isn't like switching phones because you're unsatisfied with the product.

I want a competent team.  Not to stop watching/caring.  No longer caring at all about this team is not an option.

And I've been consistent to the ****ing dream, and I've paid my dues just to get them all back. A simple man with a simple desire.

    Too early for that IMO.

Talking draft in September is just not fun.  They'll be plenty of time for this later, with less need for speculation.

I'm  just being a realist War...

Even if its not a highly drafted QB the kid needs some real competition for everyone's sake....

These powder puff QB competitions we've had since the Sanchez years yield no fruit.

We all are, even those of us pessimistic about him.

I don't know him.  For me it isn't about like/dislike.

With all that talent, I think he should do as well or better than the guy he is replacing.

We'd be playing the #2 pick and "seeing what we got".

Which, so I'm told, is what 2022 is all about.

Indeed.  He's had several years, and it's hard to say the O-line is better than it was the day he got here.

I hope so.  I don't want to waste yet another year "finding out what we got".

So you're already of the view that we cannot evaluate Zach till 2023?  And even then only if we have a great O-line?

    It is indeed.

If we're in a position to take Stroud ..... we take Stroud.... don't be dumb fellow Jets fans.

Let em duel it out.... if a QB is to soft for competition they shouldn't  be the QB
