And Jalen Hurts is ranked #2 on the list

And Mac Jones at 25 is far too high for his performance.

So as stated already, you're clearly missing the point.

As of today both Mac and Jalen have shown way more than Zach Wilson.

Zach Wilson blows chucks, hopefully that changes but please stop blaming us fans for Zach Wilson sucking.

Justin Fields had 12 completions for like 160 yards and threw the game away vs the lions with a pick 6 and he is joe montana compared to our QB who is ryan leaf it seems.

Didn’t he have a large 60+ yard run literally the next drive? Why is this constantly left out when many on here mention the bears game from yesterday? Lmaooo 😭🤣😂😂🤣😭

these are misleading stas. Allen avgs 37.8 ATT per game. of course he going to have alot of INTs but his % is 2.9.

as a Comparision Zach avgs 27.8 per game and his INT % is 3.0

Plus Allen gives you 20 TDs which is 2nd to only Mahomes. he is on pace for almost 40 TDs and 20 INts. i would take that in a second. better than having a QB end the season with 10 TDs and 11 INTs

But Allen did a bad so that excuses zach always being bad since entering the league.

Zach has been in mvp conversations like Josh Allen too I guess 🙄🙄🙄

It’s the craziest thing fans do:

“Hey look at this all-time great QB is sucking, so don’t worry about our QB sucking”

I remember how the Jets won 6 games over the past two seasons.

Now we're 6-3 and looking at the QB of team that's 3-7 and feeling sorry for ourselves. Puh-leeze.

Because we can be better with a better QB

fans like myself love the wins but don’t appreciate the QB taken 2 overall holding the team back and who play is so terrible he’s literally alienating good players.

This is a Superbowl roster with a good QB idk why this is rocket science to some fans

It's one thing to question if Fields' style can last long-term but ZW hasn't really done anything so far.

This is where I’m at with it

Like seriously wtf has Zach Wilson done in the league for us to have any optimism moving forward?

If you are not a special runner or processor you better be a special passer and is Zach Wilson that? Atm no

Zach Wilson has arm angles but who cares when most of the balls are inaccurate?

I cant imagine what this board would be doing right now if Fields was the Jets QB.  We already have hardcore Zach defenders and in this thread people like nah, Fields stinks give me and Zach and the dude is 34th in TD's thrown and 3rd in comp% w/ out all the running stuff but whatevs.  People are strange.

    Bro what you talking about?

we should be happy and never question Zach Wilson because he has won 5 games and he’s finally figured out how to be a game manager

i woke up yesterday like: “wait wtf we took this guy # 2 overall and now are supposed to praise him because he is showing he can manage a game, when QBs taken later have shown more with less?”

Both QBs were drafted in the same year, to excuse the bears and Qb progression because the bears fugged up last year is not relevant imo.  Both teams were in a rebuild when they drafted their QBs.

As for why are people all over fields?  We are getting ridislous threads on here saying he is the best Qb in football and that he is so awesome after two good running games.  At the same time ever 2nd post on here is anti Zac Wilson.  So yeah there is going to be push back at people until Fields looks like a great Qb and not a great runner.  This 10 yards a game will not last  can guarantee you that.

This sounds a lot like the idiots around here calling mocking and calling  Lamar a running back while we had Darnold and guess what Lamar is one of the best complete QBs in the game.

    while we’re doing comparisons:

    A. 6 games, 1202 yards, 57% comp, 4TDs-5INTS, 200yds game

    B. 9 games, 1322 yards, 58% comp, 10TDs-7INTs, 147yds game

A has won 5 of 6 and is fighting for 1st place.

B has won 3 of 9 and is fighting to stay out of last place.

Guess which is Zach, which is Fields?
The bold was the big part of the negative comments about Zach.  The ones where you can’t win with his lousy 200 yards per.
But we love Fields with fewer than 150 per game.

Failing to see the love for Fields.  Both are far from complete but other than his running, I’m not seeing it

    “Other than the running”

I love how you arm char QBs downgrade such a important trait in today’s nfl

    its disingenuous and sad tbh

with passing stats almost the same the running ability puts Justin ahead.

Remember how Allen was able to stay effective while he learned the passing game?

and im not seeing the defense for the 2021 Mitch Tribisky when fields is clearly better.

    do better @Jet Nut

Hating on Fields is on the level of Kyrie Irving flat earth theory espousal at this point

    Just idiotic

Joe Douglas has gotten a bunch of stuff right

He freaking embarrassed himself reaching for an injury prone douche over a dude who is Lamar Jackson, only better — younger, better passer, more punishing runner

Most ridiculous thing was post-draft presser revealing their thinking:

”we all thought there was a clear #1 and #2 and then everybody else…”

Lawrence is ok, and Wilson is a project

Fields and Lawrence were the consensus 1A and 1B forever

then “draft season” starts and douche bags like Dan Orlovsky and Dane Brugler start squawking…

Joe Douglas decides to outsmart himself and try to prove he’s smarter than everybody else and falls in love at a stupid BYU pro day watching throws against air

I’d rather have a good team.  Which we do for the first time in a long time.  But here you are complaining about our QB on a bye week.  Drop your agenda and enjoy our season bro.

We went to 2 AFC championship games with this same exact formula but guess what… THE QB SUCKED!

Excuse me for wanting a franchise QB in a QB dominated league!

how dare I demand more from the #2 overall pick when kid taken later than him is breaking out !

shame on me and my agenda

That wasn’t a serious question.   It was an opinion of Zach based on your prediction it was a crappy pick.  You’re way to invested in being right.

As a point of fact we’re just over half way through the second season and the team is 5&1 in games Zach has started.

IDC about being right I just want a good QB bro

i don't even know what that means, not sure you've actually watched either

as much as i still need Wilson to go a long long way (and he may not), i've seen him do things in games that Fields is simply not able to do at all....example Steeler game.

you are dick riding Fields because the media has been blowing him up for the last 3 weeks.

What are you talking about? Wi

You apparently don’t watch the games if you are telling me the production fields is giving the bears isn’t > what Zach Wilson is giving us.

I had both Fields and Zach Wison on my do not draft list.  They both looked like boom or bust picks. Fields is getting better and he may be the boom.  Wilson has all the arm talent in the world and great wheels.  The issue with Wilson has been lapsing fundamentals and bad decision making.  He played a good last quarter two games ago and his best game thus far was last week.  It appeared as if he was at long last, understanding the role of an NFL qb.  If that turns out to be a trend, he's boom too.

I HOPE I wind up eating my words on Wilson.  I like him and see that he has uncommon skills.

Now that the Bills lost to the Vikes, the Jets will be playing the Pats for the top of the AFC East.

This upcoming contest with the Pats is the Jets most significant game in a decade and a will be a defining game for Zack Wilson.

I REALLY want this game and I REALLY hope we see Zach Wilson deal aces.

    This

if Wilson can bury this terrible pats team I have no problems with him moving forward

There is a much higher chance that Justin Fields never develops as a passer in the NFL than Zach Wilson. There is also a much higher chance that Justin Fields's elite running can keep him in the league, while Wilsons inability to be consistent makes him a bust.

The NFL is a passing league, i'll take my chances.

meh not a fan of qbs who are really glorified runningbacks. it doesnt last

Zach Wilson and Justin Fields have pretty much the same problems when it comes to the passing game.

A lot like Allen while Fields figures out the passing game his legs are a crutch, Zach Wilson? We cringe anytime he takes off

    Serous question...

When was the last time a "running" QB won a Super Bowl?

Serious question, why should I feel optimistic about a BYU QB taken #2 overall who has ranked the worst in most categories through 2 seasons and who was supposed to be a Mahomes like QB but is nothing but a poor mans jimmy G ?
