  1. RANK 2 Quinnen Williams, DT School: Alabama | Year: Sophomore (RS) Marked his first year as a starter in 2018. He has very good height (6-foot-3) and speed (4.83-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine) and boasts great explosion and strength. He should be a very good pass rusher as a tackle. He will overpower you. Athletic and tough, Williams may end up being the best player in the draft. There are lots of Pro Bowland All-Pro honors in his future.
  2. I agree. Given the schedule right now unless Darnold really takes a huge leap or Douglas has an unbelievable draft I’m thinking 4-7 wins is the range.
  3. 26. New York Jets Way-too-early ranking: 25 Three words: Better draft well. General manager Joe Douglas, in his first offseason with the Jets, is patching holes with short-term fixes. Only three of their eight new players received multiyear contracts. Of the three, only one (center Connor McGovern) has security beyond 2020. This puts the pressure on Douglas to draft well. Patching is OK, but the team still needs long-term solutions at wide receiver, offensive tackle, cornerback and outside linebacker. The Jets always seem to be in a perpetual state of rebuilding. It's painful for the fan base, but Douglas deserves a fair chance to do it his way.-- Rich Cimini
  4. Didn’t the Jets win the last two games? How is that not winning qbing if his team literally won. Have you watched the NFL recently? 300yds passing is not what it used to be. There is a reason why Jameis Winston is looking for a job right now.
  5. It may be a deep WR draft, but if 7 go in the first round like some are projecting it’s going to be slim pickings by round 3.
  6. Here is a question. Would you be ok with the Jets trading their two 3rds to trade up to get Jeudy/Ruggs/Lamb assuming one of them falls past 15?
  7. The Jets won that game. Darnolds NE game is one of the worst a QB ever played. He looked like a high schooler.
  8. Any thought that Douglas could be tanking this season? He’s got a six year contract and can survive a bad year.
  9. His worst games: 1. New England 2019 (Worst game I have ever seen a QB play) 2. @Miami2018 3. @Cleveland 2018 4. @Jacksonville 2018 5. @Jacksonville 2019 His best games 1. Green Bay 2018 2. Houston 2018 3. Indianapolis 2018 4. Oakland 2019 5. Dallas 2019
  10. He recently made comments that publicly implicated China from withholding information on COVID-19. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newsweek.com/us-ambassador-woody-johnson-blames-china-coronavirus-world-spared-without-beijing-cover-1494430%3famp=1 I really wish the Jets had an owner who would make headlines for something NFL related. It shouldn’t be a surprise that the Jets have been among the least successful franchises the past decade. Their owners focus has been elsewhere and his brother is not experienced enough to do the job. In a competitive league like the NFL in which owners make their franchises a singular focus, it’s tough to half ass it and be successful. My hope is that Woody will comeback rejuvenated next year (got all of his political aspirations out of his system) and focus his energy on fixing the Jets.
  11. I thought he looked better during the last 4 weeks of 2018 than he did at any point last year.
  12. I’m willing to be a patient with Quinnen, but he needs to show a lot more this season. My concern with him as a prospect was that he only had one year of production.
  13. I think you are confusing Tomlinson with Matthew Mulligan
  14. He drafted Daniel Jones and hired Joe Judge. Also Dexter Lawrence looked better than Quinnen last year.
