  1. Your proposed deal is less than what we got for Jamal Adams. If Watson was on the Jets, would you trade him to Houston for that? Of course you wouldn't. Our fans would be livid if we let Houston keep the number 2 pick. Watson is a 25 year franchise qb. Any trade is going include the number 2 pick.
  2. I don't think so. Derrick Henry has had his best 2 years under Arthur Smith. Both years he has averaged more than 100 rushing yards per game. His previous best was 66 ypg. His ypc have also increased under Smith. Add to that the production he's been able to get out of Tannehill and I think Smith is a very intriguing candidate.
  3. Stop the count! Claypool will never pull a hammy and miss games at the NFL level. Mims will be hurt every year. Why can't they both be good? Mims has made plays in every game he's played in. If you watch the games you can see that there's a lot to like. To write him off and paint him as injury prone already is silly.
  4. Exactly. Andy Reid is a great coach. I'd kill to have him. But Smith's record as a starter under Harbaugh was 19-5-1. He's only had 1 playoff win under each coach. I don't understand Reid would get credit for winning with Smith but Harbaugh wouldn't.
  5. Alex Smith was 19-31 as a starter before Harbaugh. He was 6-2-1 the year he got benched for an extremely talented 2nd year player. Do you think Reid trades 2 second round picks for the qb that Smith was prior to Harbaugh getting there? I'm not saying Harbaugh doesn't have his flaws and his time in Michigan does concern me but you can't take away what he did when he got to SF.
  6. What were Alex Smith's stats before Harbaugh got there? How about his record as a starter? As many people have already stated on this subject, Alex Smith was considered a bust prior to Harbaugh. He's been a fairly decent qb since. You have to give Harbaugh some credit for that don't you? And those loaded SF teams, what was their record prior? No credit there either?
  7. Speaking of Manish, it was pretty weak of him to not be on that call today after writing that b.s story wasn't it?
