  1. Cordarelle Patterson and Calvin Ridley is “no other receivers”? Pitta also led the league in drops for TE’s.
  2. I hope you’re right because I have him for the next 3 years.
  3. I guess we just have different definitions of "very good". To me, 68 receptions and 1 TD is about as "blah" as you can get for a top 10 pick. He had 4 or less receptions in 12 of his games.
  4. If you want me to guess, id say its because you cant really judge drafts less than 3 years old?
  5. Hope you’re right. I have him as a keeper.
  6. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? None of them are proven yet. Kyle Pitts actually pissed me off. I was expecting a big year and he did jack squat for me in fantasy
  7. He actually criticized the Patriots pretty badly. “The Patriots picked a player way higher than the rest of the league projected him to go, and I criticized Bill Belichick for it. Big deal. We all have jobs to do, and sometimes the greatest coach in the game does something I don’t agree with and I point it out.”
  8. Yeah I mentioned that last week and it worried me. Im guessing (based on how he fell), that very few teams (outside the Jets) had a 1st grade on him.
  9. “I’m not a fan of grading drafts, as you know. For perspective, three years ago, the 4th, 10th and 26th picks in the first round were Clelin Ferrell, Devin Bush and Montez Sweat, and only Sweat had his fifth-year option exercised by his team this spring. Projecting GREAT DRAFTS!!!!! a week after they happen is fool’s gold.” https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/05/09/jets-draft-nfl-fmia-peter-king/
  10. Let that 0-3 start hit ya and then we’ll see how everyone really feels about the draft
  11. “Jumpstart the team” Love that analogy! Weve been running on a dead battery for a while.
  12. I just looked and they not only have 2 million more posts than we do, but 4,000 more active users. But who gives a crap - why are we arguing about Bills fans? I’d rather paint my toenails.
  13. Their forum is actually a lot larger / more active than ours. I may have trolled it on occasion in the past
  14. Part of me says that’s easy money. The other part of me says “Vegas ain’t stupid. They know something”
  15. Allen always had that swagger though. I could tell he had “it”. I don’t see that “it” factor with Zach. Hope im wrong.
  16. Ball placement matters too. They hit them in the hands but the ball placement was not ideal.
  17. Simple - The NFL has changed rules to favor the offense. The way to crush an offense now is PRESSURE. Why do you think top DE’s make so much more than top CB’s? The top DE’s make QB money ($25 mill per year).
  18. Loved this pick from the moment it was announced but this confirms it. Bills GM basically admits that Breece Hall was going to be their pick if Elam wasn’t there. https://www.ballysports.com/national/news/brandon-beane-s-lasting-formula-to-build-a-champion-in-buffalo
  19. I would agree with you a decade ago.
  20. ^^ This is a really well thought out post. You mentioned "moving the needle" and I agree that top 10 draft picks HAVE to move the needle. They NEED to have glaring impacts on games. That's why I really hated the Sauce pick. I think he will be a good player, but does he move the needle? Does he make a glaring impact on wins & losses? I really do NOT think so. Think about the best CB's in the league. Do any of them change games? Off the top of my head... Jaire Alexander - Missed 12 games last year and the Packers went 11-3 without him. Xavien Howard - Does anyone think he's changing games in Miami? Marshon Lattimore - Saints lose Brees and no-one hears about Lattimore anymore. He doesn't move the needle as far as turning L's into W's. I dont even blame the CB. The NFL is just super different now than it was in the mid 2000's when Revis dominated. A lot of people forget that it's been over a decade since Revis' prime. The NFL has moved the rules to be so offense focused that great CB's dont have the same impact that they once did. So thats where I am with it -Sauce will be good. We will be happy to have him. He will make plays. I may even get his jersey. But will he be a game-changing pick which is what you want as a Top 10 pick? I dont see it.
  21. What has Tua ever done to prove he is better than Wilson? I'm not remotely sold on Wilson but i've seen enough of Tua to know he ain't it either. Agreed.
  22. I get what you're saying, but he was 10th in the NFL in targets and 8th in receptions. He outpaced his targets. And of course, a receiver who gets open often will have more targets naturally. I do agree with you that I expect Wislon to have a great YPC, but I think his overall production will be less than Waddles rookie campaign.
  23. Did you not watch Miami last year? Waddle was amazing. We can only hope that Wilson has a rookie year remotely close to what Waddle did last year.
  24. I know its not really "proof", but check out the thread on the Chiefs forum when they let him go. They were very happy that he would no longer be on the team.
