  2. I think what separates him from most of the other elite cover corners is that he shadowed the team's best receiver. There are some great corners who stuck to one side of the field so QBs just threw to the other side. With Revis, he didn't take a side out, but he took the best receiver on the team out. Forcing the QB to throw to everyone but their best receiver is impressive. Another factor are the rule changes. He played in an era where it's tougher to cover WRs because of all the rule changes. I don't disagree that if QBs took more shots, maybe he's not as dominant as he seemed, b
  3. @T0mShane wishes he was her
  4. Love this thread. The trolls get so sensitive when you call them out on their bullsh*t. “WHY DIS THREAD THO” **** outta here. You know why this thread though.
  5. When I opened this thread I didn't know what RB to expect!
  6. Mental breakdown already, and it's not even June
  7. In 2 more games, while Davis played in a run first team (Anderson had 44 more targets!)
  8. In 2 less games in a run first offense!
  9. Chris Herndon in the sh*ttiest offense in the league put up almost identical numbers to Dan Arnold who played in an offense that passes the ball. And past history suggests Herndon is better. He has another season to show for it while Arnold didn't have anything before last season. Last point, the Panthers don't pass to their TEs.
  10. In what aspect is Chinn better than Maye? I need to see evidence of that, some stat or grade for Chinn vs. Maye and McGovern vs. Paradis. Maye is better than Chinn and McGovern and Paradis are close. Corey Davis played in a run first offense, come on now. He averaged 4.6 catches for 70 yards while Robby had 5 and a half for 68 yards a game. Davis is also a way better run blocker and a better all around route runner (great at slants). Dan Arnold is not better than Chris Herndon, he's a bit player. And the Panthers don't even use their TEs. We'll see about ZW this game.
  11. Maye, hell both our safeties over theirs, I'd take Davis over Robby Anderson and Crowder, Mims or Moore over Marshall and Moore, Herndon over their TE who isn't even involved in their passing game, right guard and center is a mess for both teams, I'd also take our QB over theirs. It's closer than you think.
  12. If you want to give me the points, I'll take them
  13. Sure. What would like you to bet?
  14. The Panthers Rankings last year in DVOA: Rush defense; 20th (the Jets were actually 8th) Pass defense: 23rd Pass offense: 20th Rush offense 16th (true that CMac was hurt) Yes the Jets were worse in most categories, but we've hopefully made enough of a leap this year through FA, the draft and replacing the worst coach in the league. I don't think it's out of the question the Jets could beat a mediocre Panthers team with a bad QB and no Curtis Samuel.
  15. He's just going to name positions they sucked at last year and say they're actually good at those positions. It's the clown formula of posting
  16. They're mediocre. Hopefully we've improved because it's a winnable game.
  17. I think IOL needed more of an upgrade, but you can question that if you want
