I hope Bob Salad is interrogating the Jets and interviewing them. They have been a complete disgrace and no one in their right mind would come here without some reasons/plan as to what they will do differently as an organization.

I hope not cause that would probably mean he's not signing here

That very well may be true, but it's the positional value argument all over again.

If you have a really good athlete at QB and think he has the mental toughness, smarts, etc. to develop into a franchise QB, that's worth a lot more than Sewell. It just is.

It all comes down to what we think of these QB prospects.

Also, interestingly enough, I saw Jeremiah say that Sewell isn't even his top rated tackle (I'm not saying he is right, I just thought that was interesting)

That's where I'm at. I don't know sh*t. But if the Jets feel he's a franchise QB, go for it. If they think he might be maybe not sure meh, then trade down.

Fields had a guy WIDE OPEN in the endzone & threw it 5' over his head from 7 yards away ! He panics. He hits a big deep 1 & then throws another one to high. He's consistently inconsistent like a lot of QBs & for that reason I'm not taking him with the 2nd overall pick in the draft. And I don't see anyone trading up for him which will confirm my suspicions about what other teams see in him.

    Few things

    1. That dude was supposed to sit. Young receiver with not enough reps.
    2. If he hit one deep and threw one high all the time, don't you think his numbers would show that?
    3. Your confirming your suspicions with your own projections? How would you know what other teams see in him right now?

There's some smoke with Wilson and Niners. Admittedly, not much from the organization, but I know he wants to play there and their fans are high on him due to the fit in the system. I know Saleh is the defensive coordinator, but Shanahan mentioned that all coaches have an understanding of the three phases, so if Wilson truly fits, and Saleh borrows some of the concepts he learned from Shanahan, then I could see him pushing for Wilson. It's speculation, but just something to keep an eye on.

I have a friend that is a huge OSU fan and he said he is Haskins without the attitude. He said he looks like he doesn't care or is sulking when things go wrong. I did notice that last night and the other two times I saw him play. I would like to get a stud WR and then build the OL and trade out of #2 while grabbing an extra 2nd round pick and maybe a 3rd.

He looked exactly the same when he won vs. Clemson. Dude was straight stoic during the celebration.

Also, he plays nothing like Haskins.
