  1. i say 5 wins I just find it hard to see which games jets win? I hardly see them beating any of the afc east teams. Being realistic Jets made some decent offseason buys, but they fall well below the Bills & Dolphins (i think both teams improved including Bills) and like Jets the Patriots have a second year quarterback with far more pieces already in place, and plus I trust BB more as coach then Saleh. Not trying to be negative, improvements were made, but so did pretty much every team. All depends of Zac to see how far he has developed, and that will be the difference between 4 wins and 8 wins. Ps each year every team have fluff pieces on there quarterbacks being amazing at camp, it means nothing until you see opposition pressure, and never take pre season seriously.
  2. If you want Wilson to develop he is the type of player you need. Pretty much all contenders have a sprinkle of super stars which are non QB across various positions. IMO this is a non brainer.
  3. for some reason I have my doubts about him as a head coach
  4. Not sure why Dorsey would leave? he has a stable organisation, a top 5 QB. A perfect platform for him to progress his career. Going to Giants would be a hugely risky choice.
  5. Apart from Josh Allen, I am not how successful he has been developing QB's?
  6. Watching AB in Tampa was kinda like watching a porno imo. You knew what was going to happen in the end.
  7. Somewhat agree, but as a team I still think they overachieved. I just don’t see there defense making the insane amount of plays as they did last year. I do think this will be much better, but even if he is I am not sold on his leadership and other intangibles. I also think every team got stronger, but Miami it’s hard to make the same argument. No one would’ve thought they went 10-6 last year, and this year IMO they have regressed.
  8. I do think Miami overachieved last year and maybe the ones to fall this year
  9. Anything can happen, this time last year it was clear cut that Jarrad stidham will take the patriots to the playoffs, darn old was the best qb in the division, Allen the worst, jets possibly play off bound, patriots still wining the division and so on… nothing matters until rd 1, I really don’t understand why people take pre season talk, games so seriously. Jets could be shot, or they could be 10-6, we have know idea whether saleh is actually a decent coach, same with Wilson as a qb, nothing. the one thing I will predict is jets will be far better ( not hard to do) same with pats ( defence alone looks very strong combined with a defensive mastermind ) and bills on paper are better then what they were last year ( doesn’t mean they will only loose 3 games but defensively look very strong again).
  10. Maybe so, but plenty of qb look superb against non blitzing, non scheming defenses. You can have a qb that can be laser like in preseason but once true pressure comes that’s when you see what they are made off. as I said, too take preseason seriously is comical
  11. It’s preseason nothing is comparable. Zach hasn’t even seen a true scheme yet. That is what will sort the men out from the boys. I can’t believe anyone would take preseason seriously.
  12. Was happy for Brady, atleast he seems to have somewhat of a heart, he is more himself since leaving the pats and always has been given a bad rap for bills cheating. Bill thew Brady under the bus, showed little respect to a guy that made the franchise. Bill has a turd for personality. Also, rarely have I have seen ( if ever) a former teammate put sh*t on Brady, he seems to be loved in all locker rooms, with bill there seems to be more and more sh*t about him coming out from ex players.
  13. I think saleh will weed out many individuals me first type players and keep process players much like McDermott and Bill. Adams if was still on roster would’ve already be gone. We will see.
  14. I worry about his game, I believe how has the tools to be good quarter back but worry about his lack of 1. competition in college and really only had 1 year of solid success 2. Going against very good defensive minded coaches in the division and how this will mentally affect him 3. The amount of expectation placed on him 4. And lastly a rookie qb with a rookie coach ( defensive minded coach too). I think there is a lot going against Zach Wilson’s that seems to be downplayed a lot but are significant worries for a number 2 pick. I do believe though he is in a far better position to succeed than what darnold was placed in which can only help his game. Strike rate of finding good qb is so low, and no matter how good he goes in practice and says the right things now matters. How he adjusts to pressure, his coaching, his desire to win are something we will know in a few years. ps I still would’ve taken another qb later in the draft considering the lack of qb success the jets have had.
  15. This. Not to mention Zac is going against 3 fantastic defenses.
  16. Well he didn't do a very good last year when they met, Josh absolutely shredded his D 32/40 375 yards & 4TD's
  17. To show you how pathetic ranking quarterbacks in June is when rookies haven’t even taken a snap, check out this from a year ago.
  18. Umm no, they are a good all round team, and Tua was a rookie last year and will probably take a leap this year. Unsure why people keep judging rookie QB's when it can take up to 3 years before a true picture can be formed. Pats will be much tougher and Bills had a terrific yet unspectacular offseason
  19. The Jets improved in the offseason, however I am really worried about Zac, he will go against 3 different defensive minds in the division, as well as unsure how he will handle the competition, he has not experienced such a competition, and unsure how he will react to it. I see around 4 wins but much more competitive than last year, and see the Jets pushing many teams to the limit. The draft was reasonably solid.
  20. We will see, he done the tough yards against the likes of Juggernauts such as the WKU Hilltoppers and the big bad UTSA Roadrunners - what possibly could go wrong.
  21. My issue is no one had Wilson as a top 10 pick or even first rd talent 3-4 months ago, and now he is a consensus top 3 pick - that's a huge worry when drafting 2nd overall. I think all qb's in this draft have been largely overrated due to the recent QB drafting. If Zac Wilson was as great as what he is made out to be then he would've been penciled in a year ago. Also, although I try not to let competition be an excuse, geez it was quite woeful and hard to get excited about it, he did benefit from having all day to throw and weapons.
  22. Astonishing job, just breath taking. I said it previously that people acted like JD found Becton out of no where, and how much of a great pick it was, it was a good pick, but so it should be with a top 10 pick. The fact that Becton was a consensus top 10 pick by virtually everybody, a hardly rocket science move. GM get paid big money to find diamonds in the rough, rd 1, rd 2 picks to a lesser extent should be automatic, and if they are a good GM would've found 2 or 3 diamonds elsewhere to substitute it. I wouldn't want to be around here if JD signs the injury free, and his prime Geno Atkins to a 15 million 1 year deal - the see of white goo would be otherworldly.
  23. I cant stop laughing, getting excited over Tyler Croft. Tyler Croft is very average, the Bills TE's are the weak link of there side, Croft was literally there 3rd string behind Knox & Lee Smith, Lee Smith is gone, they didn't bother trying to re-sign Croft or were falling over themselves to re-sign him, that pretty much says all you need to know. Buffalo fans are not exactly loosing sleep over him going, they were more upset that there 2nd stringer Lee Smith was traded. He is not a starting TE, he is barely a back up TE. We need to stop getting overally excited over these B grade offseason moves by JD this is not much different to what it was last offseason, only refreshing aspect is that the Jets have a sh*tload of picks. I really don't see what others see in JD, his moves this & last season thus far look like they have no thought out plan or direction, he seems to buy players just for the sake of buying players. The only decent upgrade I can say is Davis, and he is not exactly a stud but a very solid number 2 WR. I just think need a bit of a reality check, and stop getting over excited about very average players and what JD is doing as I think people are just trying convince themselves JD is doing an amazing job.
  24. If an Watson I wouldn’t be wanting to go to the jets due to their history of ineptitude, lack of talent, draft picks it would be similar to Houston. Watson will be going to team who is almost there, Miami or raiders would be my bets in the afc. I would imagine the Texans will trade him to the nfc though, no way Houston management would want to see him on a regular basis, this would put pressure on them from the fans. San Fran would be my pick.
