  1. Not entirely out of the realm of possibility JD would draft Young. He is a BEAST like Myles Garrett. You don't pass up on that type of monster. JD is NOT going to give up on Zach after 2 years. Just aint happening. That's his boy. But I think thats a really long shot. Texans look like they got the #1 pick in their bag.
  2. If its a slight trim of the meniscus then its minor. But if its worse he could easily miss 2 months.
  3. Ehhhh whatever. This guy has the best hair day of any 3/4 inside LB ever!
  4. @joewilly12 approves this trade!
  5. I'm Wacko For Flacco You got the first half of that thread title correct.
  6. @T0mShane after watching Mike White suck in first preseason game.
  7. Perhaps using the reference ’any smart HC’ in connection to the NY Jets was the mistake.
  8. Any smart HC would not be starting the franchise QB in the 1st preseason game. Dumb dumb dumb.
  9. I mean these guys play football. They are football players. How can they possibly suck so bad. There has to be a reason. Vince Lombardi What It Takes To Be Number One Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all the time thing. You don't win once in a while; you don't do things right once in a while; you do them right all the time. Unfortunately, so is losing There is no room for second place. There is only one place in my game, and that's first place. I have finished second twice in my time at Green Bay, and I don't ever want to finish second again. There is a second place bowl game, but it is a game for losers played by losers. It is and always has been an American zeal to be first in anything we do, and to win, and to win, and to win. Every time a football player goes to ply his trade he's got to play from the ground up - from the soles of his feet right up to his head. Every inch of him has to play. Some guys play with their heads. That's O.K. You've got to be smart to be number one in any business. But more importantly, you've got to play with your heart, with every fiber of your body. If you're lucky enough to find a guy with a lot of head and a lot of heart, he's never going to come off the field second. Running a football team is no different than running any other kind of organization - an army, a political party or a business. The principles are the same. The object is to win - to beat the other guy. Maybe that sounds hard or cruel. I don't think it is. It is a reality of life that men are competitive and the most competitive games draw the most competitive men. That's why they are there - to compete. To know the rules and objective when they get in the game. The object is to win fairly, squarely, by the rules - but to win. And in truth, I've never known a man worth his salt, who in the long run, deep down in his heart, didn't appreciate the grind, the discipline. There is something in good men that really yearns for discipline and the hard reality of head to head combat. I don't say these things because I believe in the "brute" nature of man or that men must be brutalized to be combative. I believe in God, and I believe in human decency. But I firmly believe that any man's finest hour - his greatest fulfillment to all he holds dear - is that moment when he has to work his heart out in a good cause and he's exhausted on the field of battle - victorious. 10. Flacco sucks. White sucks. Can’t throw a pass further than 10 yards. Let this Streveler guy play until Zach is back.
  11. Spoken like a true mod. I’ll post my thoughts on this when you’re offline.
  12. Actually’proper treatment’ is no running or jumping. Mostly stretching, light weight lifting by the legs and most importantly- bike riding. A lot of bike riding. It’s not rocket science. The meniscus has to be strengthened if it wasn’t torn badly. If it was then surgery would be required. We shall see.
  13. Some meniscus injuries don’t even require surgery. He’s young and it could heal on itself through proper treatment.
  14. I’ve had back to back meniscus surgeries on my right knee. Laid me out for a few months each time. It’s nothing to sneeze at. But They occurred when I was in my middle 50’s and Zach, if he does indeed have one, should heal rather quickly. Regardless, this is great news!
  15. It’s not over until the fat lady breaks the other knee cap.
  16. This is great that it’s a 2 year deal because it will take Becton 2 years to recover from this injury. He’ll then report back in 2024, phat and out of shape and undergo yet another injury…. And we’re back where we started. Becton obviously has seen his last days as a NY Jet. Next draft, JD has to target a LT to replace Becton. He has no choice. Becton is not going to be resigned and both Brown and Fant are older vets that need to mentor younger kids to eventually take over.
