  1. Is anyone else sensing a "theme" with these picks in rounds 5 and 6? Lots of athletically talented CBs/S's (some that will possibly change to LB)? Robert Saleh and company will have their chance to coach up some players with talent and see if we can find a couple gems that work out as long time starters and definitely contributors on special teams right away. Nice job by Joe D.
  2. I saw both of these posted and if either played out I could be happy with them both.... I think they both have value and potential. 4th: LB Jabril Cox - LSU 4th: OC Drew Dalman - Stanford 5th: RB Khalil Herbert - Virginia Tech 5th: FB Ben Mason - Michigan 6th: TE Zach Davidson - Central Missouri 6th: PK Jose Borregales - Miami 4th: LB Jabril Cox - LSU 4th: OC Drew Dalman - Stanford 5th: EDGE Shaka Toney - Penn State 5th: FB Ben Mason - Michigan 6th: LB Buddy Johnson - Texas A&M 6th: RB Kene Nwangwu - Iowa State

  4. I think its safe to say that most people's boards have Jabril Cox as one of if not the highest ranked player still on the board. If the Jags don't take him, his sideline to sideline zone coverage ability will allow an easy blend into a mixed Zone cover scheme that Saleh hails from. That said... there must be some kind of a reason the kid is slipping. Character or some kind of intangible/work ethic issue? I am not sure... just throwing guesses out that have him falling to the fourth. As far as running backs are concerned... 4th round is where I believe you can get decent value for them.
