He said in camp that his vax status is “personal,” but we know his parents are of the persuasion to be among the anti-vax demo. Zach better prepare himself for some uncomfortable questions this week while he works on his confidence/comeback.
Wilson is vaccinated
Mike White is ridiculously unreliable. This is four weeks in a row with some odd ailment

Great.
Then we should see Zach have a pretty great game vs. the 29th/30th ranked Texans Defense, given all those other improvements.
As I've said, the best way for Zach to silence his doubters would be to keep the improvements we've seen in offensive production since he got hurt going.
I'd comfortably wager that the number of people who "hate Zach" and "would not even give him another chance" is closer to actual zero than to anything one might consider a "significant amount".
Ryan Tannehill threw four interceptions against that terrible defense. If Wilson doesn’t have a great game he can try to have one the next week. Setting arbitrary ultimatums behind the veil of objectivity is trolling.

Honestly, you're all missing the point. The key question isn't "was the disfunction the first few weeks of the season all Zach's fault?"
Of course it wasn't. Lots of things have improved since Zach went down, OL and play-calling notably among them, and not because it was some other QB there.
The key question is "ok, now what does it look like once Zach's back?" Because the offense as it's developed to date is now capable of humming along sufficiently well. So it will be telling to see how it operates with Zach at the helm these next few weeks. If it's back to being the worst offense in the league ... yeah, that would be a bad sign. It's not like Lafleur is suddenly going to unlearn everything he's learned since week 1, or the OL will suddenly get less cohesive over time (obviously, a major injury can change that, and the absence of Carter does impact things a bit). On the other hand, if it performs to current standard or better (23+ ppg, 350 or so ypg) that's a good sign for Wilson's development and future prospects.
So ... let's see how it goes.
Sure but the offense sucked the last two weeks, and we are missing our RB1. So yes, let’s see how it goes and try not to panic if it doesn’t immediately look amazing. And if it does go to sh*t, let’s look at all the reasons why instead of defaulting to OMFGZ ITS THE MORMON.

This isn’t interesting at all, it’s reductive and misleading.
You are completely ignoring the fact that the OL couldn’t block and WR couldn’t catch for 5 weeks. I also lost count of the number of runs on 1st and 2nd down that went for a loss. We completely changed our playcalling once Lefleur went in the booth.
Before you get your panties in a bunch I’m not saying that Wilson has no involvement in the struggles, I’m simply suggesting that he wasn’t the biggest difference (he’s just the most obvious).

So we can’t be skeptical of Wilson’s near league-worst body of work over 5 games but we are idiots for not seeing future greatness due to one cherry picked game. I will admit I love seeing Darnold’s #1 defender acknowledge sample sizes though. A year too late, though.
Look who came up from their coffin. Keep putting words in my mouth bud.

2021 stats for the 4 QB's:
Zach Wilson
- 4 TDs/9 INTs
- 57.5 % completions
- 6.5 YPA
- 63.5 QB Rating
Mike White
- 5 TDs/8 INTs
- 66.7 % completions
- 7.2 YPA
- 75.1 QB Rating
Joe Flacco
- 3 TDs/0 INTs
- 64.3 % completions
- 8.0 YPA
- 113.0 QB Rating
Josh Johnson
- 3 TDs/1 INT
- 64.4 % completions
- 7.4 YPA
- 99.7 QB Rating
I'll say it again. Zach Wilson has been, statistically, the worst of the 4 QB's thus far in 2021.
This is not a "harsh attack" on your precious child. This is merely a statement of facts and an explanation for why the views on Wilson have gotten progressively negative the last several weeks despite him not playing a down of football. When 3 other QB's have been performing better, none of which were high draft picks or guys expected to play well when Wilson went down, that's a legitimate reason for pessimism. But the good news is he can shut me and everybody else up by going out and playing well against the Texans.
Now go ahead and downvote this post too.
Why are you so desperate to trash Wilson? You can choose to look at things positively or negatively. These sample sizes are absurdly small, and the team as a whole has done a better job of catching the ball and blocking in recent weeks. Wilson still has the best performance of a Jets QB this year, and is only one game removed from that. Vs atl he fought back and made it a 3 pt game with 7 mins to go. Vs NE he was looking sharp until the injury. These are positive encouraging steps. Yet you refuse to acknowledge any of it and sh*t on it all. To what end? No one is making any claims about Wilson other that he is a talented, hard working kid with potential. Forgive us Jets fans for wanting to be patient and for being excited to see him develop.

By your own logic, we may as well cut Zach today, because right now he's the 4th QB on the team and has been outplayed by White, Flacco, and Johnson.
And don't tell me about "potential". There's still people here that think Geno and Darnold are worth a sh*t, and they aren't.
So far, Zach looks like a fragile little boy that has no idea how to be a QB, and is terrified of the pass rush.
Basically, a small, skinny Darnold.
Wilson is a much more talented and better prospect than white
he is also 5 years younger and hasn’t been in the NFL 3 years
whites “potential” comes from being an extremely efficient decision maker, he’s proven to be more turnover prone than the rookie. He doesn’t get another chance
Not sure what the Wilson family did to you but the kid has proven to be tough as nails. He’s been hit constantly and the fact that he only missed 4 weeks after taking back to back cheap shots to his knee are a testament to his toughness
now if you want to talk about charmin soft, white left 3 consecutive games for non injury injuries

We have two full drafts. We can go offense with on and defense with the other

I think Mosley is trying to cover for our sh*tty safety’s and LB forcing him to drop into coverage a ton resulting in him being late to the ball

Nico, you can project all you want but only one of us posted a goodbye thread then changed aliases several times to try to sneak back in because they are too emotionally fragile to face the music on a messageboard. Oh, but everyone else needs to calm down.
Wilson will succeed or fail totally independent on what’s said about him on the messageboard. You’d be a lot more chill if you didn’t feel the need to rush in to refute every bit of skepticism written about him.
Get some rest, you’ve got a whole day of trolling ahead of you tomorrow.

I simply asked what your reasons were for best game in 10 years and you come back with you agree Wilson should start. So yes, I asked the question because claiming Wilson should start doesnt come close to answering what the criteria is for best game'. But hey, act like a jerk and get shltty about it
Hey at least Warfish jumped in to say something pointless while he missed the point also. Usually its Jetsfan80 who comes running
He can’t answer the question because he is a lying troll. Forget it

For the same reason you feel compelled to white knight for him all over the board. Oh, well except that I’m right.
What reason is that?

The fact that you don’t see that as a devastating indictment of Wilson is both extremely troubling and highly unsurprising.
Why do you feel compelled to go around every thread sh*tting on a rookie that has played 5 games?

If joe Flacco or mike white was starting I would agree, but watching the #2 overall pick play is interesting to most real NFL fans
