And I'm sure half the teams got to play a team at the caliber of the Houston Texans, too.

Oh, right, I forgot that all of a sudden the 2021 Texans have a pass defense roughly the equivalent of the '85 Bears.

They are a top 10 pass D and came into the game with 10 turnovers in the last two weeks. Facts hurt I know.

yeah I'm sure barely breaking 50% passing and throwing for 145 yards was right there in the middle of the pack

Not sure how 58% is “barely breaking”

    Burrow 24 for 190

    Goff 25 for 175

    Taylor 26 for 158

    Hurts 31 for 129

    Jones 29 for 202

    Newton 21 for 92

    Tannehill 21 for 93

    Ryan 29 for 190

    Lawrence 42 for 228

    Bridgewater 18 for 129

    Jackson 32 for 165

You cant be pro or anti zach.  Hes played 6 full games.  People have completely lost their minds.  Has he looked good?  No, not even close.  Does that mean anything?  No, not all all.

Hes got 6 more games this year and 17 next year.  Then we can come to some conclusions.  But making a decision on him after 6 games is just dumb.  But we are talking jet fans here so not surprising.

Good thing we have an extremely patient GM and HC who will see this through for at minimum another 23 games.

Has he looked good? Yes, at times. Second half of Carolina, Tennessee, early NE. He was 13/19 after starting 1/5 yesterday. Again, I don’t think you guys remember how awful the entire offense was early in the year. Wilson was a freaking victim the first month of the season.

It's not incredibly surprising. The 2 games against the Patriots destroyed any positive narratives about Zach. He's going to need to reverse that narrative with games as impressionable as those were (in the opposite sense, of course...)

You mean one game? He was looking good in his second game

good grief.  i remember when chaddy was neck and neck with tommy boy.  mac has had the benefit of a much better overall team, running attack, and oline.  give the bellichicken his due for getting his team ready to play.

The funny thing here is that Mac jokes is chaddy from a skill set stand point

When your team runs about 4.5 yards per carry and gets around 150 yards on the ground the QB generally throws for between 150-200 yards at best and most scores are on the ground. I am starting to think most people who watch and comment on these games whether it be fans and or media just don't understand the game. It's one of those things where maybe those people shouldn't think since they are not used to it.

Yes, we scored 21 points yesterday. We scored 17 each of the prior two weeks. But we didn’t have 300 yards of garbage time passing so the offense sucked.

We get it.  Houston makes every RB look like prime Walter Payton and every QB look like prime Ryan Leaf.  Still doesn't excuse an NFL QB in 2021 throwing for less than 150 yards on 24 throwing attempts.  Even a rookie QB.

    Give me a freaking break.

    Burrow threw 24 for 190

    Goff 25 for 175

    Taylor 26 for 158

    Hurts 31 for 129

I saw a free rusher heading for Mac Jones right side and he tossed a nice perfectly timed pass for a touchdown.

We are talking about different plays. 1:35 seconds. There isn’t a defender within an ocean of Jones or the receiver.

And Justin Herbert had the #32 ranked OL last year. It's almost like... good QBs play good football regardless of circumstances. What a revelation.

    Herbert is a generational talent.
