The JN QB talent evaluation cadre has spoken. Zach Wilson's ceiling remains in the stratosphere.  Mac Jones stinks. (Josh Allen used to really really stink) and Joe Flacco is hot garbage and never was any good because hey being paid 150 million and winning an NFL title was all luck no talent.

Some of this isn't wrong, but not totally right either. ZW's ceiling is indeed in the stratosphere. However, his floor is below what Sam Darnold currently is. Mac Jones kind of stunk in the playoffs, but that was against the Bills and he's certainly played better than Wilson. Joe Flacco is 0-5 with the Jets but with mostly a crappy team. He used to be much better but his SB win was mainly due to his surrounding cast. So I would say that overall I give the JN QB talent evaluation cadre a 4/10 in accuracy. Not terrible, especially if you look at other forums.

  2. In some cases the injuries in TC allow for the team to make the proper adjustments before the actual game starts instead of the player getting hurt 5 minutes into the first game when making adjustments are harder. To me it seems like Becton's injury was either going to happen during training camp or week one like it did last year.

So I consider training camp to actually be useful in that it not only helps players practice but if there's any problems (Injuries included) they can be resolved before the actual season starts.

As for Lawson, using his injury as an example of anything is like using Tom Brady as a reason to draft you QB in the later rounds. It's an outlier.

Career ending???  Where do people get this from?  He will have surgery and be fine for next year.  He didnt blow his knee out or anything.

Man, the amount of pub our 4th best olineman gets is just unreal.  Hes hurt.  Hes not coming back this year.  Move on.

He's only played one game since DeShaun Weinstein stopped playing. He's gotten a season ending injury before week 2 in 2 of his 3 years. If he comes back, it's because JD doesn't want to let go of his 1st ever pick as a GM, not because he really has a shot on the Jets. He will be a 2nd or 3rd stringer at the most if he comes back, but I don't really see it

Give me a break.  He's a multi-millionaire and most likely hasn't played enough to be in danger of developing CTE.  Worse case scenario, a knee can be replaced.  He'll be fine.

Playing in the NFL is this dude's dream job, and getting 2 season-ending injuries in a row (possibly) isn't going to do him any favors for the possibility of staying there. So yea, he's a multi-millionaire and probably won't get CTE, but he also won't be able to play, which is what I think he cares about the most. If he didn't, he would have already quit.
