Insecurity is a hell of a drug my dear.

Nah, I just refuse to be a jinx.   I've noticed that over-confidence usually leads to great disappointment.  So, I try to stay neutral - maybe lean towards the negative a little bit. It has worked six times! ;)

Not hedging.  Pats O-line is sh*t right now. Will be better when Wynn gets back.  Anyway, any given Sunday (or Monday), is true and it is your Super Bowl, so I expect to see a really good game from the Jets and if your efforts result I a win, I expect you to lose the following week, Why?  History.

This season will get real interesting in a hurry. I think they have a shot, hoping for good news on the CJ Mosley front! But the schedule gets easier, they could go a a run. Hopefully that run has already begun.

So if they beat the Pats I think there will be some optimism for the first time in a long time. Let's go Jets!

I can't wait to tailgate on Monday. Going to be a lot of fun.

If the Jets beat the Pats they will lose to Jax.  That's what happens when you play your Super Bowl in October.

The hit Jones made was possibly more flagrant because Allen was wrapped up and going down. Doyle was trying to get up and had not been touched. Granted, Burfict is a dirty player and he nearly ended Antonio Browns career but was Jones even suspended for one game but Burfict  gets the 12 games?

except he wasn't wrapped up or going down.  He was actively trying to get that first down.  There was no intent or malice.

    From the patsfans.com site rules

    2) No one likes a consistently negative person - If all you do is complain, focus on the negative, constantly post critical threads on a certain player or offense/defense, etc. That's not what we're looking for and we will remove you if it continues. It irritates people who are committed to the long-term success of this team and are willing to take an objective big picture look at things as opposed to focusing on a single setback, bad game, etc. I know the term "chicken littles" has been used, but it's really simple - don't be a Negative Nancy. If you're upset, we have a post-game thread to vent and get it out of your system. But take a deep breath and try and move on and don't try and spread negativity. I'm a pretty positive person and don't want to read it, and I know plenty of other people don't enjoy it either. So don't do it.

Think about this--fans of the most successful franchise in the history of sports just can't hear anything negative at all. Seriously? Winning all the time isn't enough? If someone dares to say anything negative--that ruins the experience for you? (Let's put aside what an entitled ingrate you'd have to be to be a negative Pats fan)

Just wait until the run is over and real negativity sets in. They'll be jumping off the bridges in Boston so fast the Charles river will rise two feet. It'll be fun listening to Chuckie from Souffie explain that he has been a Chiefs fan all along because his brother's wife's ex-boyfriend drove a big rig through KC once in 1976.

nice try counselor.  you should give a listen to Boston sports radio,

I just read more about it.  The wife/mom refused to cooperate with NFL investigators so she’s obviously more worried about her meal ticket then she has the safety of her own children.

yup....especially when Tyreek is heard on audio saying "you better be terrified of me too bitch!"  Nothing says gold-digger like a petrified abuse victim.

Here’s an unpopular opinion: if you’ve played in the NFL post-1980 and you spent more than ten years in the league cashing those checks, you have no right to bitch about what happens to your body. It’s like working in a coal mine. You knew the risks, but you opted to do the job to pay your bills. Bruschi has holes drilled into his skull and still came back to play for the cheating-ass Patriots, whom he slurps to this very day. F*ck that guy.

Awe, you're still such a sweetheart.

That is complete BS! Pats fans boo when the Pats are down by a point at halftime. With all the talk of the Jets going 0-16, if the Jets won Sunday, the entire day on Monday would be spent discussing the end of the dynasty & if its time for Garapolo, lol. My god, they did that last year or the year before when KC handed their azz to them in KC.

Sports reporters even asked BB if he'd make a QB change, lmao, these fans are despicable & that place is gonna be EMPTY in a few years.

    1) Sports radio sets the agenda and morons call in.  Actually, a percentage of the morons are actually fake calls being made by station employees.  2) Fans boo - that would be the bandwagon douchers or spoiled brats. Every team has their share.   Long time fans understand the blessings.  Long time fans don't call radio shows or feed into the media produced frenzy.

  9. Patriots fans have been incredibly spoiled for nearly two decades.  I hate to inform you all, but the Pats losing to the Jets won't send anyone into a meltdown....and no one really gives a sh*t about the Yankees winning either. This must be an example of the Napoleon Complex I've heard about ;)

100% agree, My sentiments last year were the 4 games off actually helped him through the season and be fresher at the end.

This year he has to face a full season at 40 and he's taking more hits, flushes and knockdowns  than I've seen him take.

Looking at his tape through 5 weeks, this is just my arbitrary view but I don't think his play is coming to him as easy as it used to.

    As you say, worth monitoring.

Watch a little closer.  No Edelman, 0-line play inferior (especially Solder).  Nice try though.

So angry....work on that, bud.  You do know that Brady testified under oath, right?  You also know that science proves the allegations false, right?  You do know that the Colts balls were inaccurately measured, right?  You do know that Goodell is a piece of crap, right? Sorry the G.O.A.T is in the same division as your Jets.  He'll retire in a couple  of years.  There's a light at the end of the tunnel.  Oh - and TB12 is married to Gisele Bundchen and owns a share of Under Armour.  Money is not an issue.

Yeah the deflator was trying to lose weight. Brady always smashes his phones, except that he doesn't. The NFL is still going to suspend him next year.

All these allegations of cheating are false, and they don't cheat in many ways that have not been discovered yet.

Oh yes don't forget that they pay Brady a ridiculously low salary, but pay his fitness company lots of cash to work with the team. I'm sure that's all above board.

Cheating. Everything the Pats have accomplished is because of Cheating.  Enjoy your first round pick this year.

wow - angry much?  LOL!  You should - maybe - read up on "deflategate."  You're a smart guy....take off the blinding green glasses and learn something.  You'll see the truth.

  13. The jealousy is still pretty ridiculous around here.  Pathetic.

I doubt Easley was a locker room cancer.  That is the Globe being the Globe....through the true Dolphins fan, Ben Volin.  I do, however, believe he's hurt all the time and is a sh*tty dog trainer.  He has shown flashes...and then poof!  IR.  I wish him well....but yes, the Patriots look like they have their own version of Vernon Gholston on their hands.  At least they cut bait quickly...I guess.

  14. It's Thanksgiving Eve - maybe stop whining for a day or two?  Be grateful that ALL of us get to enjoy/hate/whatever it is you call your football experience.  Football means being a couch potato/bar fly/tailgating at the stadium on game days where you get to yell/cheer/boo/etc, drink beer, eat unhealthy food and escape reality/be entertained for several hours....which in the grand scheme of things - is pretty cool, but certainly not the most important thing in your world...hopefully.

Have a Grand Turkey Day, Turkeys!

P.S. Brady says he'll hang 'em up when he sucks.  So, I suspect a Peyton-esque departure (maybe not as bad).    BB is not a kid anymore.  What else does he have to prove?  It would not shock me if he left before Brady (in the next 2 years).
