  10. This is a no-brainer for me once it is released. SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone, SlingPlayer for Mac HD make debuts by Darren Murph, posted Jan 6th 2009 at 12:00AM Remember that proof-of-concept you saw way back in June of last year? You know, that one involving SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone? Here at Macworld, Sling Media is doing its darnedest to take the spotlight away from the looming Apple keynote by announcing that said app is almost ready for consumption. It'll be demonstrating a functional version in San Francisco, and it's planning to submit the software to Apple for certification sometime this quarter. In case you couldn't care less, it'll also unveil a prototype SlingPlayer for Mac HD, which will enable Mac-using Slingbox PRO-HD owners to stream high-def material to their Mac. As for the good stuff, pricing has yet to be determined for the SlingPlayer iPhone app, but the SlingPlayer for Mac HD will be made available gratis. Full release is after the break. 11. Here we are again, standing at the edge of the 2nd season of football, with no Jets to root on to victory. This is a position we are very accustomed to being in. (side note to Pats fans - welcome back for the first time since 2000). So as a Jets fan, the annual question comes up: who do we root for now? I know I am a Ravens fan, at least for this weekend's matchup with the Fins. But it's tough to root for any team, it's tough to watch a game with the same intensity. As for me, if I miss a game here or there, no big deal. No Jets = not that important. Of course, if you want to put a spin on "Jets withdrawal" you could say this is the time of the year of coitous interruptus between the Jets and the fans, although with the coaching/QB situation in limbo, plus the inevitable PSLs forthcoming, you could say the Jets aren't done ****ing us just yet.
  12. Thanks for waiting until the official awards are given out in February.
  13. I was wondering if you still want that other ticket for the upcoming Jets playoff games...
  14. JetNation: membership has its priveledges! Funny that Bren thought this would get me in trouble.
  15. Normally I would delete this, but I think I will let it be..
  16. Well the one good thing that can be taken from this season would be the tailgates. This was my first full season, and even though our team sucks right now, I look forward to doing it all over again. I can't get over the fact that this little site that Max started nearly 4 years ago has brought together so many Jets fans not only from other states, but other countries! I would list everyone, but I'm sure I would forget someone. So to all the folks who run their respective tailgates(De-Jet-erates and 5H in particular)..thanks for all the hospitality. I'm glad to call you all my friends. And from a personal standpoint, this season and the tailgating was a nice distraction from some very personal issues for me, and again I'm extremely grateful be surrounded by some great people.
  17. There's a viagra joke in there somewhere, but I won't go there.
  18. Dare to dream! What if.....the Jets had a pass-rush going today? Stop Chad from picking us apart with his accurate short to medium range knuckle floaters. Time to unleash the Cracken! Put Noodle-arm on his ass, or it's going to be a long day.

    Sorry

I didn't notice any issues. Oh wait, I haven't been around anyway.
  20. Should this thread be in the NFL forum? Ah, nevermind...**** Tom Brady.
  21. I started my main resolution last week: drop the lbs. I know I ate some fattening food today, but I feel ok knowing I did 40 minutes of cardio this morning. A third tattoo may be in the works, but does that even qualify as a resolution?
