  5. Askew was actually a Pro Bowl alternate this year.
  6. He's got one-year, $2 million left on his contract.
  7. I'm not saying they were wrong. All I am saying is that it appears there are two contradicting reports going around.
  8. It appears there are a few contradicting reports of when his contract expired. Some have it down for two years, some five years. KFFL reported it was a two-year deal when he was originally signed. NFLDraftScout also reported that he is was scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. In a small blurb, Rich Cimini noted that Kassell was quietly re-signed to a three-year deal.

Jets #6th Pick - 1,600 value Cowboys #22nd Pick - 780 value Cowboys #29th Pick - 640 value --------------------------------------- Cowboys First-Round Pick's Total Value - 1420 points 1600 to 1420 Cowboys 3rd round pick (93rd overall) = 128 points 1420+128 = 1548 points That's about equal of a trade that will happen. If the Cowboys gave up their 2nd round pick (61st overall) instead of their 3rd round pick, the total value of the Cowboys side of the trade would be 1712 points.

26th overall in the NFL in total defense. Though the Raiders didn't exactly do anything to improve any positions on defense in the offseason. The entire defense side of the ball is full of a bunch of underachievers.
  11. I wouldn't be so quick to push the Dolphins out of the way. While they probably won't take McFadden, Parcells likes to wheel and deal and I wouldn't be surprised to see him move down in the draft with someone who wants McFadden.
  12. http://www.myfoxcolorado.com/myfox/pages/Sports/Detail?contentId=4851381&version=7&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=6.1.1 KANSAS CITY - Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson is out for the season with a broken right foot. This was confirmed by a source within the Chiefs organization with direct knowledge of the situation. According to the Chiefs initially, Johnson had suffered a mid-foot sprain in the fourth quarter of last Sunday's 33-22 loss to the Packers. However, it was later determined that Johnson had suffered a fracture. According to
  13. Clarke is rumored to go to the bench as he gave up two sacks this past Sunday. The fact that Jacob Bender was active on Sunday too doesn't help Clarke.
  14. Baseball will always be the more popular sport in New York even when the Giants or Jets win the Super Bowl.
