  1. I'm in the same boat. Hopefully someone has an answer. This is my first time going and I'm bringing my family too
  2. And Cooks will probably be there when we pick unlike last year when we would have had to trade up to get Austin. I'm ok with this scenario.
  3. Yeah, SB here we come! http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/03/29/great-pro-day-gets-jeremy-reeves-a-contract-with-the-jets/
  4. I completely understand your frustration. I wish if he's gonna keep that make cap space to at least extend Wilk because the man deserve to get paid. It'll at least be interesting to see how our team does with so many picks. You saw that stat about Rex and the jets having only 13 picks in his first 3 years? What a contrast this is.
  5. Are you not happy with us getting Decker, who was regarded as the best FA WR out there? Given I'm used to us making more of a splash as well. When you say middle ground, I'm guessing you're talking about us signing a CB since we lost Cro right? Would that have counted as middle ground?
  6. I don't know about that. Here's both their NFL scouting reports: http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/stephen-hill?id=2533537 http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/mike-evans?id=2543468 Seems like both have a lack of understanding and utilization of a full route tree because of the simplistic offenses they were in, but isn't that a majority of college football teams programs. Also, Hill had about half as many catches in all his years at Georgia as Evans had in his freshman year alone. Hill seemed to be more just a deep threat when he was coming out where as Evans seems to be more o
  7. Then don't root for the guy. Is it possible to root for the team and not the player?
  8. I know I've been gone a while, but what's with the troll?
  9. Good luck wherever you go. Those two back to back AFC championship seasons will be nice memories.
  10. True. And if it works out that 3rd round pick doesn't seem like a big deal. Maybe with a new GM, a familiar OC and a new attitude from Rex, the situation is less likely to impose.
  11. The Holmes trade has soured me on the thought of trading for another WR with questionable locker room attitude.
  12. It's not that easy trading for one either. I.E. Holmes.
  13. How about instead of trading for a diva WR with a bloated contract we draft one of similar size and athleticism with less baggage, diva attitude and no where near as big a contract?
  14. Do you think the same could be said about Clowney?
  15. I'm still not sure he'd be available at 18, but I would love to have this guy. Anyone watch him in college? Is he as good as advertised? https://twitter.com/TonyPauline/status/446450919748947968 Draft Insider Tony Pauline confirms that Texas A&M WR Mike Evans has an official visit scheduled with the New York Jets. The Jets are desperate for a play making receiver with Mike Evans skill set. Evans dominates at the catch point and uses his size to box out smaller defenders. The Jets need to stay committed to surrounding Geno Smith with weapons if they want him to succeed in New Y
  16. So much for retirement. But I still gotta wonder how badly he wants to play after his retirement comments earlier this offseason.
