  1. Gaffney is a 10 year NFL Vet.

Gaffney was good enough to get drafted to the NFL after only his rsSo year at UF.

Gaffney was the #2 Bronco WR in 2010 behind only Pro Bowl WR B.Lloyd.

Gaffney was the #1 Skins WR in 2011.

Gaffney is just another Gator no talent scrub, just like the Pats/Gator TE Aaron Hernandez. (genius')

Given Gaffney just has the best year of his career, with a bad QB, he has yet to pass 1000 yards in a season.

    He's never topped more then 5 TD's a year.

He finished this past season 44th in receiving yard averages, behind Anthony Fasano, Preston Parker and Jerome Simpson.

He might have been a #1 and a #2 receiver at one point, but in NE's crowded group, he'll probably be at best #4 and he won't come close to the his stats from last year.

Do you really want to read blocks of text breaking down each pick for you? Of course not, you want something short and sweet. Which is why I give you my first round analysis, presented in the form of animated gifs. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words.

  4. Looks like we'll be targeting WR in the second round and truth be told, if Randle, Hill or Jeffrey fall to us, that's a very solid pick as all three were at one point or another considered first round talent. I still personally want an OLB ala Upshaw, Curry or Branch, but it seems that once again the FO doesn't invest much stuck into those pass-rushing OLBs. Should be an interesting second round as there is still a lot of talent on board.

Stephen Hill - WR - Player

The Jets are reportedly targeting a wide receiver with their second-round pick.

The Jets currently have injury-prone Chaz Schilens penciled in opposite Santonio Holmes. LSU's Rueben Randle, Georgia Tech's Stephen Hill, South Carolina's Alshon Jeffery, and Rutgers' Mohamed Sanu are four receivers likely to go off the board early Friday night. per rotoworld.com

Ah. I just made a topic before a noticed you posted the same thing. My bad.

  5. There are so many quality players dropping. Hell, we could still end up with upshaw in the second haha. Also, Alshon Jeffery in the second?? Talk about absolute value. Or hell, a rueben randle.

    Give me randle.

  6. Rotoworld:

SI.com's Tony Pauline reports free agent S Will Hill is "hoping to make a comeback," and the Jets and Giants are "showing interest."

Hill would be "coming back" from going undrafted last year and drawing zero interest after the lockout. Hill forwent his senior season at the University of Florida only to see his draft stock nuked by a disastrous Combine and the discovery of his cartoonishly juvenile Twitter account. Hill routinely tweeted about smoking marijuana, his bathroom habits and sexual exploits. A stiff-hipped character nightmare who largely underachieved in college after being a five-star recruit, it would be a miracle if Hill ever steps foot on an NFL field.

I just started reading up on him. What a fool this guy is, but we love bringing in players with characters issues. Perfect fit?
  7. Really? Since the turn of the century:

Ellis was a staple on this D for years.

Abe was ridiculed for being a wuss, but nobody doubted his ability.

Chad didn't win a SB, but I don't think he is hated by any stretch.

Becht is hated and he probably is deserving.

Moss is more of a love/hate/love again/hate again relationship.

BT is back again! No hate here.

DRob was decent, but given the price the Jets paid, which is not his fault, he is hated.

Vilma was D-Rook of the year, is currently a great (albeit dirty) player, and was only ousted because the Jets changed schemes.

Brick is a very solid LT.

Mangold is the best center ever.

    Revis is ok

Gholston deserves all the hatred that comes his way!

Keller is not terrible, and can become one of the most productive Jets ever if he stays healthy and continues to improve.

We all have opinions on the Sanchise, but the story does not have an ending yet.

    Wilson shows promise.

    And, Mo is a beast!

The times they are a changin' my friend!

Woah. I support your enthusiasm and positive attitude, I'm just saying, some fans out there hate anyone we probably draft in the 1st round regardless. And about Chad, weren't some people cheering when he last got injured as a Jet?
