  1. I was utterly stunned and disgusted after today... But that post was great.
  2. GAGne is looking like Mel Rojas. Quite the contrary for Joba!!
  3. Gagne another blown save today.
  4. Jets cut Ed Blanton today... http://www.rotoworld.com/content/Home_NFL.aspx
  5. I didn't want to say JMac, but I am guilty as well, I also have JMac's jersey:bag. On the Revis part...Couldn't the Jets/Revis' agent some sort of mutually agree on a 6-year voidable option?
  6. Good article...But are you REALLY wearing a Curtis Conway jersey?
  7. I'm happy that Coleman has seemingly supplanted Kimo at RE...Good news.
  8. How do the Jets play a factor in this bro? Screw Vinny. Piece of crap outside of 98'.
  9. My Favorite: I know a lot of people dislike him for demanding the contract and the whole "Meshawn" attitude. But he played great under Parcells and was a complete WR, except the breakaway speed. But he made Pro-Bowls with the Jets and was money on 3rd down. To me he justified his #1 Overall selection when the Jets took him. The best though? Probably Maynard or Walker. But since I didn't see them it's hard for me to give an opinion. I don't remember seeing Walker/Toon since I was only 5-6 years old. But I did see Wayne Chrebet, and to me he is the Best in Jets history in m
  10. I had a much crazier/stoked feeling for the morning of the Divisional 2004 playoff game. In 98/99 I was only 11, so it wasn't all there yet, but the loss still hurt. But in 04' I couldn't wait for that game to kickoff, easily the most anticipated Jets game of my life so far.
  11. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports the Steelers have offered line coach Russ Grimm their head-coaching job, and he has accepted. This report is contrary to the ones on ESPN and SI.com that have the Rooneys deciding on Mike Tomlin. The Tribune-Review says Grimm's hiring will be announced at a Monday news conference. Grimm had been the frontrunner for the job before the reports about Tomlin were released. Source: Pittsburgh Tribune-Review
  12. ESPN's Chris Mortensen has confirmed that former Vikings defensive coordinator Mike Tomlin will be the next head coach of the Steelers. Mortensen has confirmed Michael Silver of SI.com's report, about six hours after Silver had the original scoop. The Steelers and Tomlin denied the report throughout the day Saturday. Tomlin, 34, will likely let most of Pittsburgh's assistants go to Arizona. He will bring the Cover Two defense, so some 3-4 linebackers like Joey Porter may be out of place.
  13. Gainz...Root for the home team or you're bandwagoner? New York was home and my parents moved to Tampa. So I have to change and root for the Bucs, Devil Rays, and Lightning? No way in hell. I hate the Bucs and cannot stand Tampa Bay as a whole. But because I live here I have to root for them? PLEASE
  14. What's so upsetting? Their hasn't been a Jets team in the Superbowl in the last 38 years.. Isn't it routine by now? Kidding. One day.....One day....
  15. I bet you the run defense would improve.
  16. Jeez. 90's must of been great for you...I don't understand it really. The most confusing are the people who are Yankees and Cowboys fans...How???
  17. Try being a Knicks fan the last 5 years. And when the Knicks were a very good team, did fans "imagine" picking the Bulls and being a fan of Michael Jordan trashing the Knicks?
  18. Screw that! I had my fun with the Yankees, that was great, but do RedSox fans wish they picked the Yankees? This is a BAD thread. No way do New Yorkers pick the Pats, or wished they had. I'm happy I picked the Jets and when that day finally does come, whenever it is, it will pay off. I'll never "imagine" rooting for the Pats...Pathetic.
  19. Duhhh that's what Kimo von Suckoften is for!
  20. The Steelers have chosen former Vikings defensive coordinator Mike Tomlin, 34, as their next head coach. While an underdog pick, the Rooney's were not afraid to shake things up in an organization that had a Super Bowl hangover. Tomlin has undergone an amazingly fast rise through the coaching ranks and is regarded as a dynamic leader. Most of the Steelers staff will probably follow Ken Whisenhunt to Arizona. Tomlin runs a Cover Two defense, so Dick Lebeau and Pittsburgh's famed 3-4 defense will probably be taken apart sooner than later. Source: SI.com
