  2. yes wld be cool kind of but talk about the circus talk costume change...
  3. They should He's earned recognition and maybe deserves the chance versus tougher competition
  4. That's why I say switch it up. Go in an unconventional direction.
  5. Cant wait to see the media call the jets a circus with Matt Simms at the helm
  6. Only guy that throws on a rope See what he can do if Sanchez hurt Two quarters Simms/Smith vs Philly
  7. Is give Simms a chance. Signed, the Beatles
  8. Started following - I'm Rozy_Brozy. Hope we move beyond the taking pix of joe namath baseball cards and expand the real game photo operation tho
  9. it almost has to be...or a DT. but then what about the OFFENSE????
  10. what they do at 13 and on the second day will tell me more. You still have Jarvis Jones, Margus Hunt, Damontre Moore and others out there. But i will say this - defense and the team has to built from the snap of the ball out. Getting rid of Revis was an opportunity to change the dynamic of the defense to attack as opposed to passive/defend. But this also tells me they wanted Tavon Austin.
  11. idk man, Austin is a weapon - his short area quickness is off the charts. in a WCO....just think
  12. that was fun. i keep revis in this context, draft mingo, dysert, sign rhodes and harrison and keep ryan.
  13. i wonder how the franchise would deal with Sanchez (forget tebow for the moment) if Geno is the pick... I mean here u have Sanchez and his Jets West and face-of-the-franchise vibe...talk about potentially splitting the locker room. Again. Would they go into camp still with the open competition mantra? Or would they just get rid of Sanchez and hand the reigns to Geno. I don't see how Geno can beat Sanchez out in a camp competition.
  14. so again. what does losing the purported nucleus of players in the 'prime of their careers' have to do with the 14-18 record the past two years? i dont think the point he is trying to make at all - or rather exclusively - is that these players are not good.... the jets just lost - or rather, let go of - three starters from those drafts. these aren't the dwayne robertsons or worse, vernon gholstons of the world. they were the young core that they decided not to re-sign. his statement makes no sense. compounded especially by the fact that these players were a huge part of the success of the prior two AFC Championship seasons. his trade is words. no mulligans.
  15. sooo let me get this straight. The reason we were bad over the last two seasons is because we lost Greene, Slauson and Keller to Free Agency this off season???? Talk about logical statements.
  16. the old ones were cool...this one is antiseptic
  17. Not really. Keller = depends on whether Rex likes him/Morningwood wants him. Landry = there are so many safety options out there this cycle. Frankly, he is replaceable.
