Yes, he is getting older. No, he can't defend the run. BUT the man can still get a hell of a lot of pressure on the QB...I think 8 sacks last year, 15+ the year before... the man could give us exactly what we need in a pass rush - he was released, so doesn't that make him free game for us... I've always hated Joey Porter because of his attitude and the on field presence...but that was because he was always play for the OTHER team! I think i would love him if he played for Rex, plus I think his attitude would be awesome.... Joey and Bart would eat your children! I see it as a veteran solution that can be had in our limited means of signing FA's.
