  1. As far as I am concerned Douglas gets a free pass for being handed this turd of a team. I dont like Gase but kind of have to give him a pass as well. This is all on Mac.
  2. I see a lot of pro Lamar talk and all I have to say about that is watch his last two games and count the seconds he has to sit in the pocket. Compare that with Darnold and it will explain the difference.
  3. Lets face it this season was lost once they retained Mac for draft/free agency. He had no idea how to build a team, only seemed interested "winning" the draft by drafting safe picks that played low impact positions (aside from Darnold which he dumb lucked into). This team is so poorly constructed and so thin everywhere except for DT's and safeties its pathetic. It will also take years to clean this sh*t up so there is actually a next man standing to take over on injuries which always happen. Probably just enough time for Darnold to get his new contract wasting his cheap years. Sorry if this thread doesn't contain enough #JetUp, might want to try
  4. You dont have to hook up with anyone to get Mono btw I keep seeing that. Also it sucks it took me about 3 months to feel 100% and get my strength back when I was in HS.
  5. This thread has potential, hopefully the OP returns with more gems.
  6. Darnold wasn't great but the offensive line was well...offensively bad. A lot of what made Darnold look bad was the poor play of the offensive line. Batted down passes are either because the QB is short (like a certain shortstuff who threw 3 INTs today) or the offensive line isn't doing their job.
  7. He might be good, but throwing away an entire draft just to get him will never be worth it. Mac should have been fired before the draft (more like years ago). We have no depth and we are going to end up wasting Darnold on the cheap because we will have no backups worth a damn except for safeties and DT's.
  8. Why are we never in a position to draft players like that! I guess we were too busy drafting the best players in the draft.
  9. Remember when the Jets ignored offensive line all those years because safeties and DT's. Pepperidge Farm Remembers
  10. Thin. As in years of wasted draft picks plus loading up on Safeties and DT's have left the team extremely thin and will affect the Jets for years to come.
  11. Is that the actual pic of his one career interception?
  12. Who would have figured when 50% of your draft picks have gone to safeties and DT's you would have a lack of depth in other positions.
  13. Except Darnold was playing with a High school level offense whereas Shorty McShortpants had actual offensive weapons and real talent around him.
  14. Could be worse we could be the Knicks and watch 2 marquee free agents chose the freaken Nets over them. The NETS! I mean you might as well just kill the franchise after that kind of blow.
  15. I used to be in the "care deeply" category but their consistent bumbling and stupidity over the years has definitely tempered my fandom. Now I'd say I'm in the "I care" category.
  16. Its a bad day for all the collegiate safeties and defensive linemen everywhere. Where will the "best players in the draft" fall to now? But seriously this needed to be done before the draft and free agency shopping spree.
  17. Chad "Noodle Arm" Pennington had the biggest collection of man champions this board has ever seen for such a craptastic QB.
  18. Is that you Mike Tannenbaum? The old second draft meme never dies around here. Cuts and waiver claims=other teams trash. Sure it works in a pinch but a better strategy is drafting your own and maybe just maybe pass on that DT that is supposedly "The best player in the draft" that nobody wanted to trade up for.
  19. Or you can just be like Mac and not bother with the O-line this year or next. I mean can they even play Safety or DL?
  20. Its weird their needs pre-draft looks a lot like their needs post draft. How odd.
  21. The Bills won this one. I don't like picking DL in the top 5 but if we had to (and apparently we only draft Safeties and DL so I guess we had to) I would have preferred Oliver and its not even close.
  22. So if next year if the BPA available is a DL do we take them? How about if the year after that the BPA is a DL? You see the issue with ignoring impact positions and drafting strictly BPA. You end up with safeties and DL.
