  1. That REALLY helps the Jets in regards to it being more likely that one of the top OTs falls to them with the Chargers having to draft a QB with the 6th pick now.
  2. I'm praying they go heavy on OL in this draft. You can easily get your starting LT and G/C in the first few rounds
  3. I agree. I think it starts with drafting a stud LT. There are a few names being thrown around as potential first round LTs so hopefully they can land one of them. Either Andre Thomas, Tristan Wirfs or Jedrick Wills who's draft stock is rising.
  4. This is true I don't see anyone actually trading for Bell and his contract. It's unfortunate because there are tons of impact RBs in this upcoming draft.
  5. I agree. I really hope they go hard after Scherff and still add a starting LT and C.
  6. Where in that post did I say Bell is the issue? Do we not read the actual post? What I actually said was that the money that they can potential recoup from Bell can go towards improving the OL. And yes I actually watch tons of NFL games. Take a seat.
  7. Okay so now that our beloved Jets set us straight back to reality my focus is now shifted to the offseason and improving this team. So what does Joe Douglas do? What does Joe Douglas' history tell us? To be honest I don't know much about his team building philosophy other than I know he likes to build from within with building up the OL. Does he make a move with Bell? Bell has impressed me with his composure despite knowing he's not being utilized properly and has been nothing but a team player. He's been cool, calm and collect for this team but if they can get something for him and put that saved money towards the OL then I'm all for it. Does he retain Robby Anderson? If Gase is staying I don't see them resigning Robby and I see them trying to find a way to get rid of Bell. With this draft being deep in WR and RB I can see a scenario where they don't resign Robby and find a way to trade Bell. While impossible, I'd love to get an idea on who he intends on keeping around. Does he pay Jordan Jenkins? I would. This may sound crazy but my offseason looks like this for some of the bigger players... -Robby Anderson; It would solely depend on his asking price. Anything more than $10-12 per and I'm letting him go. Something tells me he'll ask for more so I'm assuming he's gone. -Le'Veon Bell; I love the kid and what he's all about when it comes to football but if they can trade him for a decent return (2nd round maaaaybe 3rd) I'm letting him go because I can get another really good RB in this draft at a much cheaper price. The money that is saved can be put towards improving the OL. -Brian Poole; I'm giving him an extension as soon as possible. -Jordan Jenkins; Really like the improvement he's been showing. With a healthy Mosley and Williamson and with Q in his second year I think he puts together a dominant season next year. -Powell; With the deep RB class unfortunately he's gone -Beachum; Played well when healthy. I would keep him around at the right price in the case where we strike out at Tackle. I only pray that they release Winters, save the 8 million, and go hard at Scherff and land him to start the offseason. Then they can focus on C and T and really upgrade this line.
  8. I agree with this. Sam isn't the issue at all. He needs to clean up a few things yes but give the kid a competent offensive line and offensive line coach and he'll be able to showcase his talent. The Jets are going to be drafting in the Top 5. More likely than not it'll go QB (Tua), QB (Furrow), Chase Young, Andrew Thomas, then the Jets will probably pick 5th with their luck and have a decision to make. For me they would have to take the 2nd best LT in the draft. Most likely Tristan Wirfs.
  9. I would be absolutely honored. I'm just honestly sick of the losing. What's worse is that I'll always root for them no matter what happens ever.
  10. What's not true? If they lose tonight they go on to play the Patriots then the Eagles then the Cowboys then the Patriots again. I just realistically don't see them getting out of there any better than 1-5
  11. Nice man that's awesome. Keep going strong.
  12. Exactly. If they lose tonight they're 0-2 with upcoming games against the Patriots/Eagles/Cowboys/Patriots. That's realistically 0-6 maybe 1-5.
  13. I'm off tomorrow who's down to get black out drunk tonight for this massive game. If they lose it's a very big problem with the Patriots and the Eagles coming up. Not to be a downer but realistically the season will be over and I'll be going hard on the nfldraftnetwork mock simulator two games into the season. So sad but so true.
  14. That stadium sounds like its ROCKING!!!!!!!! LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Playing the Bills is always a good test to where our offense stands. The game is going to be awesome lets just hope for no injuries on either side. Aaaaand T minus 2 minutes until the beverages begin flowing fellas!!!!
  16. I don't think the Bills are to be slept on AT ALL actually. They're a division opponent who has a very very stout defense. Ed Oliver is going to be a problem in the middle of that line along with Hughes on the end who always gives our tackles problems. They have very good safeties, a potential star CB in Tre'Davious White and Tremaine Edmunds is a long athletic linebacker who can also cover. So no I don't think Buffalo stinks at all. And while their receivers are nothing to write home about our CBs aren't exactly something to write home about either. Realistically we still don't know what Josh Allen is going to do in Year 2. He can take as big of a jump as Darnold does granted I hope he doesn't. I think their backup RB Devin Singletary is going to take over the starting job at RB early and do well for them, I was a big fan of his coming out of college and he's shown that he could be a player in this league. I, for one, will not sleep on the Bills nor will I chalking this game up to a W yet. A win here at home against a good division opponent is a very good start to what can be an extremely exciting season. Cheers guys 🍻
  17. I'm in. I'm on vacation starting this Monday until the 16th. Nights are preferred though
  18. I wanted to get the edge rusher as much as anyone else. I have no problem taking the best player in the draft here and waiting for next season to fill in the edge rusher position. The way I see it if I'm a GM and my team is picking in the top 5 or top 3 I want the player that gets selected to both fill a need AND be arguably the best player in the draft. The Jets needed a player who can consistently get to the QB and that's not necessarily only filled by the edge position. Quinnen Williams literally gets in the backfield all the time and will get sacks. He's also going to make Leo a much better much more production player. He'll do the same for Jordan Jenkins as we'll probably see his sack number go up from 8 to around 10. I'm okay with waiting until next offseason to get our premier edge rusher and OT or CB depending on what they do with the rest of the draft.
  19. We got ourselves a true gamer guys. I think it's a must that the next priority is getting a Center with the next pick. Realistically we're looking at Eric McCoy, Elgton Jenkins or Connor McGovern who hopefully find a way to slip into the 3rd if there's a run on WR and S in the 2nd round. I think any of those guys can come in and start from day one. After getting the Center then I think the draft board should dictate if they go Edge Rusher or CB.
  20. How do I set it so I never ever see another post from this guy?
