  1. Give it just a little more time. Maybe I just throw in the word "silly", I think that sets off some sort of alarm here. They'd have this thread raided within seconds.
  2. Cut the entire team! Fire the HC! Lazy bums! Not even working out! WTF?! Season over! Bills finish 0-16!
  3. **** roid using Watt. That's what this humble Jets fan thinks.
  4. Think whatever you want, that's not the issue. The issue is contacting him and telling him to get his lazy ass to the facility.
  5. Winters didn't play because he was better, he played because 1) he was a higher draft choice and 2) Rex always plays his personal favorites. It became painfully obvious after a few games that Winters was just flat out awful and should have been benched. Just because Rex stuck with his guy instead of playing the better player doesn't mean Aboushi wasn't good enough. He was thrown into the fire in the middle of the season, he didn't get any reps with the starters, couldn't build chemistry with Mangold and Brick, yet he played VERY well. In fact, again, he was our 2nd best lineman after Mangold. He was the best LG in our division, even according to PFF. Here's a good example of how good Aboushi was and how many key blocks he had, if you actually paid any attention to him or the O-Line period. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000443916/Chris-Johnson-37-yard-run He better stay in the starting lineup, he's got Pro Bowl upside, he's getting better and better. I'd lose a lot of confidence/respect for Bowles or whoever makes that decision if Aboushi doesn't end up starting week 1. Unless Harrison just turns out to be a stud, which I doubt, but we'll see in camp/preseason. Unless he turns out to be a stud there's no way you bench Aboushi.
  6. Do you show up to work if you don't have to? No? Well so what are we talking about here? And please spare us this "I'm not a millionaire, I'm just a hard working guy" junk. I'm not a millionaire either, let's clear that up. These workouts are VOLUNTARY, that's it. Stop whining. If somebody doesn't want to show up it's perfectly fine. It doesn't set him back, it doesn't set the team back. If you want to whine about certain players having to show up then make these workouts MANDATORY. Until then stop bothering the players, it's none of your business what they do during their time off. Sheldon by the way did show up for OTA's by the way, just not ALL of them. Neither did Marshall.
  7. That wasn't the point, pay a little more attention.
  8. So you would root for Brady, BB and Kraft if they moved here just for the sake of making more money. You'd root against Bowles, Macc if the Jets moved. You'd buy a Brady jersey. To each his own I guess.
  9. It doesn't matter if he's a 3 year or 6 year vet, he's an elite player, among the best in the NFL and he's still on his rookie deal (underpaid), and he still shows up for the OTA sessions (not all of them) even though he could easily just hold out alltogether and not show up for anything. Did the other guys? No. McCoy by the way the Bills gave up a good young player for, they handed him a huge contract on top of that, and he's on a new team with a new staff, new GM, new everything. It's amazing how some of the Jets fans learn nothing from their mistakes in the past. They pulled the same sh*t with Revis (he was Mevi$ back then, remember?), then we finally trade him and suddenly the same fans were ready to kiss his feet to somehow get him back to the Jets. Loser attitude. Show some loyalty and treat the players with a little more respect, maybe we'd be better off if guys stopped bitching about everything and supported the players a little bit.
  10. As for why we did this, there was at least one more team that tried to trade for Marshall, so in order for us to get him we had to sweeten the deal just enough. I think we'll be fine, this is probably just a 2-3 year thing with Marshall. History shows us that he always wears out his welcome after 2-3 years. Broncos, Dolphins, Bears, now with us the way we structured his contract it's probably another 2-3 year thing again.
  11. So you give up however many years/decades you were cheering for this team (mostly in pain), this franchise, just because financially they had to move in order to survive? What if YOU had to move as well because you found a new job in LA, would you go back to rooting for the Jets again? And what if the Pats take over for the Jets here if you didn't have to move, do you root for the Pats then? By your own logic you'd have to.
  12. I just love how when somebody is holding out, doesn't honor his contract, stays away completely from the facility, that's considered "excused", but when another guy spends SOME of his off time with his family and otherwise is at the facility and has no problem with his contract, that's the a$$hole. Talk about double standard or better yet hypocrisy.
  13. Aren't white QB's allowed to give their opinion regarding Geno?
  14. I'm over it, I just don't care where somebody geographically puts their facility or decides to train and spend 4 hours 8 times per year to play their games. A lot of this is politics, it's about money. Franchises move around, that's the way it is. If the Jets moved to LA would you stop rooting for them? Would you root for the Pats if they took over for the Jets in NY? Please.
  15. As of today we have only 4.7 mil. in cap space left. If we want to get the Mo deal done it'll definitely have to be backloaded heavily. Which would make sense considering Marshall's deal is front loaded.
  16. Again, nobody identifies with the Bills. They have their cute little snowy fanbase somewhere in their little caves, their tipi's, whatever, that's all nice and well. But until they change their name to the New York Bills they have no business talking about being New York's team, New York's only team or whatever they claim to be when there are 2 other teams that actually do identify with New York, that are proud enough to wear that name.
  17. Saxton is a terrible blocker at this point and very undersized, I doubt he makes the team considering the other 3 TE's are better receivers and blockers.
  18. Not sure if this has any effect on Wilkerson, positively or negatively.
  19. Nobody in New York identifies with the Bills, it's either the Giants or the Jets. And the Bills don't identify with New York either, that's why they have Buffalo in their name, otherwise they'd be the New York Bills. That's pretty much where it ends. There are only 2 teams in New York. The Jets and the Giants.
