  1. Yeah, dude probably hasn't even played in the minors...
  2. Whatever you have to do to afford that summer nanny...
  3. Well yeah, he should be doing it. I'm talking from the point of view of a college student averaging 4 hours sleep a night...lol.
  4. He was lifting twice a week, now he lifts four times a week. (Lifting four times a week must suck...assuming you're taking one day in between, you'll never have an extra day off. MWF with a two-day weekend seems much more palatable.)
  5. Ah, so it's like women's version of capitalism: a road to the bottom to sell things for cheaper. But in this case the bottom is no clothes at all. So they're making themselves a commodity! I should write a book on this theory.
  6. Damn, I don't even know who megamind is. lol I suppose no movie goes as deep into the development of a supervillain--you know all the origins and conflicts of superheroes, but not the inner thoughts and ideas of supervillains, which you seem to get (at least sometimes) in super-people movies.
  7. File that under the "that's been done and I just haven't cared enough to look at it" category, lol.
  8. By the way, why aren't there more superhero movies about the villains themselves? I mean, I suppose it doesn't necessarily even have to be a movie about some supervillain who successfully destroys the world, but what about someone who starts out bad and becomes good? Instead of the whole "realizes power --> some conflict about this newfound power or how it relates to someone close to the superhero --> resolves conflict to save day", you start off with someone who realizes their power, ****s sh*t up, and then matures and comes to the good side. It'd be like an epic bildungsroman, but as a superhero movie. Or you could make a supervillain movie that's a social critique--maybe the dude starts off in the ghetto, discovers a power and proceeds to revolutionize the world. But then he grows power-hungry and the movie ends with America winning. Because yay America. (I purposely made this "social critique" Hollywood-friendly.) Or for all I know all that's been done and I just haven't cared enough to look at it.
  9. Can we still talk about a suitable superhero to have the Holy Spirit complex, or is that off line?
  10. Rex Ryan's sensei is clearly Master Splinter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZUVZ5KoVZc&feature=related
  11. By the way, the forum software agrees that she's hot. So clearly she is. Boom, roasted.
  12. I was kinda hoping it would be more like the Saddam tear-down...
  13. I don't know how much I believe that. At the very least, women's clothing options are influenced by men. Women wear more revealing clothes than men in almost every social situation I can think of--do you think that's solely to please other women?
  14. And here's Herm doing the same for the Pats, wearing a hoodie no less! http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=8174289 (Does he realize that people only watch these videos to laugh at him?)
