Who is a better GM Dave Gettleman or Mike McCagnan?

So, this thread is going well.

Trade down! And build like the saints did!

  3. Fair play, but it’s also worth noting that those of us in replicas also enjoy making fun of those in authentics because they generally match them with Dockers shorts.
  4. :reads stories of guy spending almost $500k on Jets tickets and a house in Maine, sips coffee:

    Movies We've Seen Thread

Us is uber violent, suspenseful to the max, and its ending is top notch. It’s not as all-time a film as Get Out, but it doesn’t need to be. I really loved it. Peele knows how to take the little minutiae of a horror scene and bring it to the forefront. A bang on the door isn’t just a scary loud bang for him, it’s almost a physical part of the scene. Very cool to experience. I also enjoyed the fact that Peele followed up an award winning film that was entirely about race with a movie that has nothing to do with race and is way too gory to get considered for award season, yet it still makes as much of a political statement. Taken together, both make two very different but connected critiques on privilege. Bravo. 👏🏽 I left the theater liking it a lot, but as I have had time to digest it I find myself digging it more and more. I’m finding it hard to remember another horror movie that carried such a subtle plot also say so much.
  6. If the Jets trade out of 3 and still draft defense, I am holding all of you responsible for it and will personally be ripping kimuras and kneebars on you ****ers one by one.
  7. This board is a far better place since TX got laced, but this is one of those instances where his trolling skills shined.

Anyone remember Post of the Week ?

“Cockgobbler of the Week” does have a nice ring to it.
  9. I bet the same people that authorized the coverup of the bigger names are also the same dudes involved in making sure we never know the truth about Newton’s 3rd law.

    Siemian to Jets

Considering our backup last year cost us $10 million this is a steal.

2019 METS THREAD! It’s time has come.

I have no idea how any of this is going to go. The Mets could win 90 or they could win 60 and neither would surprise me. I'm hoping on the notion that the Mets are really, really overdue with some luck regarding health. We have to have one goddamn year where the entire team doesn't get ******* injured. On top of that it's also been a really encouraging Spring for the offense. Zero chance DeGrom replicates last season, but if Thor and Wheeler stay healthy he doesn't need to. After watching how the new additions and youngsters have looked in FL, it's clear that there is a lot more reason to be optimistic about things this year. Mets certainly have the roster to make a playoff run. The Mets are spending a lot of money this year but more importantly it looks like they spent it on what appears to be a complete baseball team top to bottom, with a good mix of veteran leadership and youth.

    Jets sign TE Daniel Brown

    Names! Depth! Macc!
  18. The Jets went into free agency with $100 million and lacking at every single skill position on the field, they are still lacking at every one of those positions, and the fact that they didn't sign a center is the inexcusable part?

  20. Whatever anyone is willing to offer for him on the tender you take it. Finding guys that run in a straight line fast, drop half the balls thrown at them, and get into nonsense off the field is not hard. That’s why Anderson was a UDFA in the first place.

    NY Jets Remaining Cap Space

Other than blowing a playoff spot the last week of the season against a division rival led by Rex Ryan what was disastrous about it?
