JD has become the gasoline to the dumpster fire of draft busts. Not easy to do considering who we are. Has a GM had more busts than JD in his 1st 3-4 years? Busts defined as 1st 2 rounds.

Schotty , shameful to say, is the last OC to take us to the playoffs. The offense in general did not let us down in 2009 or 2010. Rex's great defense gave up 24 unanswered points in both games.

I think you are making a great decision. Change is good. You'll work another 5-10 years, sock away a bit more I'd say as 7K don't go as far as it used to BUT I like what you've described.

As you know, and I believe have done in baseball, many people LEAVE their team of birth when they move. I will always be a Jets fan, albeit an embarrassed one. I will now root for Buffalo the rest of the year as I have tons of friends in western NY from my college days. It's only insanity if you lose the sense that it is a game. Woody is not a competent owner, doesn't mean I lose my memories of rooting for the team I once saw in Shea. My 2 favorite football teams are The Jets and any team that when they win show Woody to be the horse's ass he is.

Their QB is decent, if we had him, Saleh still would have been outcoached every week. BUT with Jones we have at least 2 more wins.

CEO's/top executives get fired for poor performance. They don't have specific job requirements. Stock price falls consistently... they get canned. Agreed, he won't get forced out. BUT, I am confident that at owners meetings, he is laughed at behind his back. Longest playoff drought, worst franchise in sports last 15 years. Who respects that? Please, injuries? We haven't drafted /developed a QB in 20 years. Passed on HOF QB's, passed on franchise QB's. We're talking utter and complete failure since 2007 not 2022.

Saleh has behaved worse than a HS coach since he got here. The coach at Charlotte Catholic HS in my city had the stadium named after him. Stoic, take no prisoners, well prepared. NEVER saw him high five, chest bump etc. Saleh is like REX but with less training and it shows.

2 of the worst drafts in Jet history are back to back Douglas drafts. 2020 and 2021. 2 busts that will be in Jets top 5-7 BUST list. Becton and Zach. Imagine getting on that list in just your 1st 2 years

In 15 years the Jets have been to the playoffs twice. 2009-2010. How anyone can look at Woody as a competent owner is beyond rational. I have read posts saying we're at least not the Lions or Jags. That is a joke. Since 2007 the Giants have won 2 super bowls, have drafted better been to the playoffs at least 5 times (too lazy to count it). Woody is a laughing stock amongst owners.
