Jets Info

  • What is your favorite Jets related memory?
2002, Final game of the season Jets vs. Packers. We are watching the game in the parking lot and still no result as we enter the stadium. The Pats win in OT and the stadium erupts, you can feel the energy and momentum change and as we all know we go on to romp the Packers and take the AFC East title.
  • Do you have season tickets?
  • What Jets memory broke your heart?
I can do back to the 80's loss tragedy. I can even mention 1998 in Denver, but because I was in Pittsburgh in 2004 and the game in our hands TWO times, thats the one that really put a dagger in my heart. I didn't move until I was forced to by stadium security because I was in utter shock that I just witnessed Doug Brien miss TWO field goals that would have sent us into New England for the conference championship.
  • Who is your favorite member of the NY Jets flight crew?
I made out with two of them. Names to be kept private.
  • Where you alive for Super Bowl III?
  1. We don't need Hard Knocks' IMO. I think this could be a distraction to some, Kerry "Hollywood" Rhodes for one. Let this team just get back to work and continue to get better and make another run at a Superbowl. We don't need HBO filming it. I love Rex and he and the Jets would be a good fit for the show, but as a fan I personally don't want to see it. I don't think this team needs a distraction and take a step back in 2010-2011
  2. NO not even close. Whether it is something as serious as having a gun on you or something as small as having a cigarette no matter the circumstance pro athletes are role models whether they like it or not. Everything they do whether small or big is magnified and shouldnt be done in public.
  3. Whether he likes it or not hes a role model, that comes with the territory when your a pro athlete. There are thousands of kids out there that look up to him, he is a role model whether he likes it or not. He should also know not to do that in public. Is it a big deal? No. Favre dips all the time, but whether its smoking or having a gun on you when your an athlete and a role model you need to be smarter
  4. I will be doing Chicago and Denver is my wildcard.
  5. I don't really ever "root" for a team in the Superbowl. I find it hard to "root" for a team that is not the New York Jets. I would like to see Manning win another ring. The top QB's to ever play the game discussion will get a lot more interesting.
  6. We usually hear about Dr. James Andrew doing shoulders and not knees. I hope this isn't serious
  7. I have one of those seats!! Just got mine last night. It is in great condition too.
  8. I don't know what his talk with Rex was after Sunday, but neither endorsed that fact he would or wanted to return. It's simple to me. You either want to be here or you don't. If he wanted to even with his discussion with Rex he could have said he wanted to come back. I like Kerry, he has potential. He has made big plays. On the flip side he tackles like a girl sometimes and shys away from contact. He blames his soft play on his job with the scheme they are in. Thats Bull****. If you played the game you are trying to lay a lick on someone anytime you can. Again, I'm good with Kerry returning, but I now have a bad taste in my mouth because it should have been simple. I want to be here or I don't. If he says it today, ok. If he beats around the bush then just get rid of him. I have been fuming about this since I saw his tweet, sorry.
  9. This season was one of many highs and lows. We made it to our first AFC Championship game in over a decade, but I took two things out of this season that I honestly believe. 1. The culture of the franchise has finally shifted and changed. These aren't your "same old jets". Rex changed the culture on day 1 and I believe while he is calling the shots this is a team we can be proud of for a very long time. 2. I believe this season was just the start of a long run at the top of the AFC. When you hear or talk about the AFC the teams that usually come to mind are the Pats, Colts, Steelers and Chargers. Well, the Jets are now in that category. The Jets will be a powerhouse in the AFC for years to come. I only hope that during this run its leads us to another AFC Championship and ultimately a Superbowl!
  10. Me, 4HCrew, Can't Hackett and Vinny are in section 320. Will have a banner as well.
  11. I didn't need to watch the games to tell you if Sanchez didnt hurt his knee then Clemens would have never started. LOL I kind of already knew that Greene and Keller were beats. I also knew we played better in the second half of the season based on the fact we were winning games. If I can teach the players and coaches that by not watching film then I would be happy to sit down and talk to them.
  12. I didnt watch the season all over and waste 50+ hours of my life and I could of told you everything you saw from watching them live for 4 months.
  13. yeah and i will be in the penthouse with the poles
  14. I could of told you all that and not of spent 54 hours watching those games all over again.
  15. jerseys 101.com is a great site and for 38$ plus tax it would me a lot more sense then to get a replica jersey and pay 70$ if you need one now go for it, i have no cluse about the sleeves.
