  1. Jamal Adams now has more threads about how great he is than he did tackles in 2019.
  2. The reason to trade Jamal Adams is to build around Sam Darnold. I’d be much happier with Becton/Lamb than Becton/Adams right now, and I’m certain Sam Darnold agrees.
  3. Except... One of these QBs puts up top 5 stats, while the other puts up bottom 5. One of these QBs collects league MVP awards, while the other surely leads the league in excuses. One of these QB’s season would be a disappointment without making a deep playoff run. The other would be canonized if he goes 9-7 next year. To be clear, there is no window with Sam Darnold. Not yet, at least.
  4. I liked the part where it says the Ravens and Cowboys are in need of a "ball-hawking safety."
  5. That it's a bad move for the Ravens, but one that's specifically designed to exploit the likely, very small, window you have with Lamar Jackson before you decide what you want to do with him re: 2nd contract. So, at least there's a train of logic to follow.
  6. His other stats aren't that good either, the interceptions are just glaring. His sacks are an outlier, and not really what he's there for, considering 5 of 6.5 came against two bad rookie QBs. You have to refresh twice before you see him on ESPN.com for passes defended, where he's tied for 98th. He had half as many tackles as the top safety, he's not top 5 in safety tackles, he's not top 10 in safety tackles, he's not top 15 in safety tackles, he's not top 20 in safety tackles, he is tied for 25th. In solo tackles, he wasn't top 20 either. He did, again, lead the league in sacks by a DB, and you know why? Because he's an extra linebacker - which, in comparison, he was tied for 21st among linebackers. Serious answer, that's a dumb question. One INT wouldn't make him better. After 3 seasons Ed Reed had 21 INTs, Troy had 7 INTs, Dawkins had 8. Yet, people talk about Adams like he's in this class.
  7. In the post I was responding to you, you literally said "He makes game changing plays. That makes a team a winner." In this post, you then explain away why he isn't making the team a winner.
  8. I mean, yes, Jamal Adams did do well against the Giants, whose record last year was 4-12. I fondly remember that time he took the ball from Daniel Jones, who only fumbled 17 other times that season, a pace that would have led all time had he played 16 games, and scored a TD. That's worth 15M+. As for making the team a winner, to be clear, Jamal Adams NFL record is 16-32.
  9. Jets Fans: He's more than a Strong Safety Also Jets Fans: You're not allowed to talk about the fact that he doesn't have interceptions. But, look, you got me. If this gentleman from Germany who writes for a Jets fan site says it, what do I know?
  10. I mean who could have seen this coming besides everyone paying attention.
  11. I mean, those people are criminals, which is kind of the point.
  12. 619 people are talking about this “From supporting natural killer cells to replenishing antibodies post-exercise, Protect helps activate your immune system and counter stress-induced immune suppression so you can stay active, resilient, and ready for whatever comes your way,” continues the site. Sure, all of this may be true, and why not take some vitamins right now? But it’s hard to ignore the timing of the release and the asterisk on the front label that states: “These statements have not been evaluated by the Food & Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.” Screenshot via TB12 Screenshot via TB12 Strangely, Protect already has one review on its site (for 5 stars no less), from some guy named HR, even though it debuted today and there's a giant red warning on the site that says "due to circumstances beyond our control related to COVID-19, orders containing this item may take an additional 3-5 business days to ship." But this isn't anything new for Brady, as CBS Senior Editor Chris Towers pointed out, the QB also once endorsed a sports drink that promoted concussion "protection." A literal snake oil salesman.
  13. I mean, if this is your bellwether boy have I got some bad news for you...
