ESPN are dooshies. Anyone who calls Steve Phillips an expert sucks.
Regardless, it's more than a username. People call me EY in real life.
And now I see this.
I do know what to do. I'm standing in the dark.

JiF, EY, and CTM are rapidly becoming fan favorites around these parts.
Man, with friends like those.
-
Ok, I've got Baseball tonight on, and Eric Young is one of their 'talent'.
I am getting really tired of them calling him 'EY'. Really pissing me off.

I must have missed this documentary
You don't watch Entourage?
-
shhh... not supposed to talk about that place anymore.

My therapist says winning post of the week will help me with my self esteem issues.
-
I think I'd rather watch The View.

LOL. Well THAT didn't take long dude.
one of the best moments in TV history.

My thread was still the highest rated (with over 45 posters voting) in the entire history of JI. whatever that means.
It means you signed up for a bunch of names and voted.

Sean Ryan aka Tyler Durden in the house!
Your baseball forum just came to life!!!!!!
Sean, they do have a rule 'no politics' here, I think it's a good one.

This is never a bad thing.
Sudden Death was awesome.

do you know what would kick the mafia game's ass?
A game where all the JI personalities signed on to each others accounts to post, and we had to guess who was who...
That would be funny as hell.
But I fear we'd do irreparable damage to one another.

and he will fix it. (Except the chat room not working, that will be another 2 - 3 weeks). But anything else...just say the word.
it burns when I urinate.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!! I bought the pump fake.
You bit on the fake?
I ran all the way into the endzone for the Pick-6, only to realize I didn't have the ball.

Listen,
I don't think Sutton has been spectacular, but are we really going to direct our anger at him right now?
At the end of the day, Sutton's defense only let up 13 points in regulation. And, got 2 stops in overtime.
At some point, the offense needs to score. And that is not on Sutton.

I think we win. But I don't think we'll be feeling particularly great about it afterwords either.

Perhaps you should go this route instead and save even more money by having a DIY cake (obviously not to scale):
Was there a picture in there?

I was thinking the same thing.
Chase Daniel, Colt McCoy and Tim Tebow don't excite me.
Is their anyone at a smaller school that might have potential?
Best bet is for Stafford to come out.
And if that happens, we better start losing to get to him.

Amazing. I'm getting myself a ice cream cake for myself though. best of both worlds.
Not good enough as far as I'm concerned. Real thing, or nothing at all.

Jesus if they made you a mod then I'm guessing no one here will get their panties in a bunch if a drop a few jokes here and there.
Oh man. Trouble abounds...
Hey man, long time.

In all honesty, EY, that was one of the things my wife said she wouldn't mind doing once we got serious when we were dating. Of course she turned on Cookiepus and wanted a traditional cake when we got married, but the fact that she at first agreed to the idea was pretty cool.
Oh, and I should add.
I'm willing to make it look like a traditional cake.
In fact, Carvel makes those circular cakes in 3 sizes I think. Add some dry ice to keep frozen, a few stands, and I think we're good to go. I'm also fairly certain we saved about $2,500.
Beyond that, and this is the part that I use to sell this idea... The bride and groom, standing atop the chilly ice cream cake, can be custom ordered to be wearing snow gear. Adorable.

It's a dealbreaker. Sorry, a man has to have his limits.
BTW, didn't even think of it, but welcome. I'm thrilled you here.

it used to, but eventually you make decent enough $$ to survive. Plus, I mooch off of my wife. Getting married was key for benefits and insurance.
Oh, I know I can make it. It's just that one of my goals was never really to 'make decent enough $$' to do not exactly what I wanted to do. Obviously I love sports, I wouldn't be here, but Sports TV is not a huge passion of mine.
Money in the industry as you know, is being diverted away from docs into reality and into live broadcasts. So to do what I actually wanted to do, I'd have to pretty much produce for frontline, and there's little money there anymore. Unless somehow I hit the 'next Ken Burns' jackpot.
We'll see. I'm not walking away from anything yet, just taking a test. And your last sentence is all to reminiscent. I was joking with the girls at work that I look for three things in a woman:
1) Good Healthcare
2) Open to the idea of a wedding cake from Carvel (or other ice cream cake substitute)
3) Willing to talk to me.
