  1. I absolutely believe Darnold could turn it around and improve. It's just extremely bad timing for him to prove to the team that he can do it. If you roll with him and he fails, you're back to square one next year. If you roll with him and he excels, are you going to end up in a situation where you are regretting a contract extension based on one good year of play? At the end of the day I just want to be able to watch some meaningful football games but it's going to be really fascinating to see how this all shakes out.
  2. The thing that bothered me the most with our usage of Brad Smith last year was anytime he lined up as a QB he never passed. At least not that I can remember in any game. So by the end of the season anytime he lined up...you knew it was a running play. That was kind of frustrating. The guy has a world of talent...I'd love to see him pass, cause without him passing...the D will know what's coming everytime.
  3. If anything the Jets are going up, while it appears the Bills are headed in the opposite direction. They basically had a fire sale on their defense, and lost a mildly productive RB. The Jets are building to compete with the Pats, the Bills are just plain building. This guy is about as homerish as you can get. He's basically saying that the Bills have the advantage over the jets at every position, without even giving reasons to support it.
  4. It's funny how we are referred to as the B team when the Jets are actually better than the Giants. Something that will be proven in NY for all to see during this season.
  5. Wow, that definitely sucks. Is he pretty much done then? Or just a matter of rehab? Basically is he ever going to reach his potential?
  6. I remember thinking NE made a nice pick by getting him in the early 2nd last year. What happened to him? I barely remember even seeing him in any of the games. Then they go pick up 3 new wr's during free agency. Did he just disappear off the face of the earth? Or is he just a bust?
  7. Yeah to be honest, Keyshawn wasn't nearly as annoying as I thought he'd be. He seemed to be happy just to be on the show and didn't seem like he was trying to take it over or promote himself really.
  8. Why waste anytime thinking about going after Pacman Jones? The guy can't even acknowledge that he did anything wrong in the first place.
  9. Seems like there's a ton of teams this year looking to possibly draft CB early. I wonder if the ones we like are gone, do we then go OL or trade down?
  10. Someone explain how the Giants got 6 prime time games. Watching their games is like watching paint dry, and they lost Tiki so they'll be even more boring.
  11. I just don't get the people that refer to his clean-up time as QB last season and say he's a bust. He barely got any snaps. Look at what Vince Young did his first partial game. I think 2 int's. I remember Leinart looking like a lost punching bag his first game. I think we can't really make any judgments on the kid until he's at the very least played a full game. For some reason though, I feel a Brees/Rivers situation coming up. Probably not this year, but I can definitely see it the season after.
  12. <H1>Not trying to start a Chad/Kellen debate. Just saw this article the other night and thought it was interesting. I don't think there's any point in arguing who should start, but the people that think that Kellen stinks, or the people who think we should trade up to draft Brady Quinn are crazy. 13. I hope the Bills go 0-16 this year.
  14. Long time reader, first time poster. I'm pumped for the coming season, and the Jets/Pats game week 1 is my birthday. All I want is to go to sleep that Sunday night 1-0.
