  1. The only thing is Cotch wont have the element of surprise this year, teams wont just overlook him from week to week. Thats why we might see someone like Stuckley or J Mac emerge as a top option on the team also, imo.

I think Stuckey is going to be a great WR, hopefully its here. He kinda has that Chrebet look to him, scrappy and great hands.

  2. Leon's been seeing a good amount of reps returning in camp

Yeah its gonna be a close race between the 2, I just figured if Jones is used as the majority back he will get more carries. Leon will get more screens. Leon may get some returns this year but I wouldnt risk him getting injured, wasnt Pellot-Rosa going to do some of the returns?

  3. I gotta say TJ, although it should be close. If Jones is used in the manner in which I think he will, he should get 1100yds rushing and 100yds recieving.

Leon IMO should get 650yds rushing and 450yds recieving. I dont see alot of return yardage for either one.

  4. Who injected their thought on Kraft into the conversation? You. Post #9.

I was talking to BP about Kraft, not to you. Then you gave your two cents worth and then I gave mine. I did not ask for your thoughts on Kraft nor did I start the Kraft tangent. Thank you BP...post #3.

BK I am passionate about my team like you are probably to a fault. The noob thing is true. Some of the people on this board and JI go back to a little old Geocities board over 10 years ago. I, as a fan of another team, see your post questioning why I am here, yadda yadda yadda about 10-20 times a year at least. It is not a I am better thing, but a repetitive thing that is old and tiresome.

No it was Parcells who made the reference to Kraft and injected his thought in post #3. Then you replied with all the praise of Kraft in post #8, I reminded you about Conn on post #9. The remark about the Jets being cheap that you made in post #2 could be construed as being a troll, and that isnt ok no matter how many years youve been here. Dont throw this noob label around just because people dont want to hear your regurgitated pap about NE on a Jets site. If people ask why you are here its because we see plenty of rival teams fans posting put-downs, or spewing one sided BS way too often, and it also gets old and tiresome. (on all Jets sites)

If you are passionate about your team, then that again makes one wonder why you wouldnt be posting on a Patriots site rather than here. I would think you could find hundreds of NE fans to talk Kraft with, this isnt the place for that.

The "you think you are better thing" comes from calling me a noob, which I am not, and how quick you used the term which made you sound like an arrogant jerk. I may not have been here for years and have 1000s of posts, but this isnt the only site Im a member of either. I joined here to have a different place to visit, with different people and fresh veiws on all things Jets--not a noob.

Hopefully this provides you with the intended insight on our disagreement.

Anything to add on Schwartz is welcomed.

  5. Wait... are you saying that masturbating with sock puppets is wrong???

Should I not do that? I tell you, I gotta plead ignorance on this thing, because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing is frowned upon . . . you know, cause I've posted at a few message boards, and I tell you, people do that all the time.

Only do so with Kookla and Ollie, Fran was a tease.

  6. Some of Schwartz's clients were, Lamar Gordon RB MIA, Ike Hilliard, Terrell Davis, Marques Douglas Balt, Dusty Zeigler NYG, Vonnie Holiday.

Hes had some good name clients, and hes been around for awhile. I hope both sides in this dispute are thinking this needs to be settled soon, for everyones sake. It seems Revis wants to play here, and knows his holdout is hurting his learning curve. Id think the Jets FO would realize that and get the talks moving again.

  7. Then quit whining.

I do not know if it is a part of JN rules or something hereditary, but the customary "goto your own team's site" is usually posted within the first 50 posts of every noob.

    :opps:

    Happy?

What a friggin dildo statement, Quit Whining? Are you kidding me? After your 3 posts of crying and whining you try to pass off your childish retorts as if it was me. Thats why I said I really dont care about where NE plays, so the subject would be dropped. But as I can see, you are the little boy who needs to be right, and attack someone who isnt going to agree with you. Oh yes, dont forget to call them a noob so you can feel superior like all insecure little tools do. By the way this isnt my first day on a sports forum, and Ive seen some inane stuff posted by trolls but you take the cake.(not saying you are one)

Im gonna try to put it really simple this time, I dont care about R Kraft. If you love him, that is great for you. Now, can we discuss Schwartz?

  8. And your point?

Connecticut had an out for him to exercise or otherwise the Patriots are playing in Connecticut right now. I could be wrong, but if you are throwing a billon dollars at an NFL team you have a contract that does not allow them an out.

Again, over 80% of the cost of the Razor came out of Kraft's pockets. Please show me any other example where an NFL owner did this?

My point is this, you are trying to sell me/us on how great Kraft is as an owner and I personally dont agree. I dont really care where the Patriots play, and I dont care about Robert Kraft. If you want to talk up the Pats go to a Pats board. If you want to add some relevant Neil Schwartz comment, then have at it.

  9. If Chad comes out throwing the ball downfield accurately (operative word accurately) -like many here think he's a cinch to do - McCareins will earn his keep. If we play another season of Pennington dink and dunk - there's no reason to keep J-Mac around especially at his cap hit. I don't know the stats for certain but I'll bet half of Chad's picks last year were under or mis-thrown "bombs" to McCareins.

Thats not to say dink and dunk can't work if all the other offensive cyllinders are firing, but we already have 2 of the leagues best scrappers for short seam, flat and over the middle patterns that can break for good YAC. Bottom line - if Chad can't hit him - take any reasonable offer and do everybody a favor.

I dont think J-Mac should go anywhere this season, he is impressing the coaching staff and that is pretty good in itself. I dont want to see us lose a vet WR that knows the division rivals and how to play them. Not to mention taking a target away from Penny that hes familiar with. Im not saying guys like Stuckey or Jackson arent able to play, but I like Justin as one of Chads friendly faces when the heat is on.

  10. That is what I said (i.e. 250 of 300 million).

The fact is he totally funded the stadium out of his own money. He did receive 57, I thought it was 50, for infrastructure/road upgrades/repairs around the stadium.

No, but he did change the perception of the team and how it is managed. It is not a coincidence the team has been successful since he took over.

Bill and Bill deserve the credit on the playing side, no doubt. However, the winning atmosphere is enhanced by what Kraft has built in Foxboro. Great stadium and environment for the players.

Again, when you can overpay for a team at 170 million dollars and then have that team worth a billion dollars 14 years later, mock Kraft. The guy knows what he is doing. The Patriots play and management is proof of that.

But the deal was made to move to Conneticut in 98, he wormed out of it by paying 2.4 mil to Conneticut to avoid further litagation. Obviously the guys plans were to make money with the team, he is a businessman for christ sake. Isnt there a Patriots forum you could be on, instead of trying to sell us on how incredibly great NE is?

  11. How?

If you are going to throw a billion dollar package at the owner of an NFL team, you might not want to give him an escape clause.

I am just saying. Who wrote that 'binding' contract? An 8th grader from East Hartford?

Or 57 million infrastructure loan from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.--To be paid back through parking revinues. Pretty convenient.

  12. Yeah, he screwed over the fans and citizens of Mass. by paying for 250 of the 300 million cost of the stadium.

He continues to screw over the fans by winning. 82 wins and counting this decade with 3 more seasons to go. Amount of 80 win decades before he arrived? Zero.

He can masturbate with sock puppets for all I care. In 14 seasons, the Patriots are 144-101 (including playoffs); 4 Superbowls and 3 Superbowl titles.

All this after he screwed Conn.

  13. Actually if you think about it the way that Mangini has gone to the transition to the 3-4/4-3 flex hybrid he wants is the exact opposite of the approach that Parcells took in Dallas. he stayed with the 4-3 because of his personnel for a year then switched the next year which created a lot of problems. Well we are through our growing pains on the 3-4 last year, and we have a perfect blend of 4-3 and 3-4 players so we will be able to seamlessly swithc between the 2.

I hope Trusnik makes the team, BTW

Yeah, me too. Trusnik looks like the real deal, and hes relentless in pursuit.
