  1. I'll be sure to send the Tennessee Titans a Thank You card after they beat the Dolphins this week.
  2. I don't believe the Jets have the #1 defense in the league, regardless of what the stats say. If they really were the best, they would have stopped the Wildcat on Monday Night, and they'd have kept the Jags from driving down the field late in the 4th quarter. They're good, but not that good.
  3. I don't care how badly they played. I want to see the Jets in the playoffs, even if it means rooting for Miami. I don't hate the Dolphins more than I love the Jets. And it doesn't matter if they don't do any damage if they made the playoffs. They could get blown out, and I would be fine with it. Making the playoffs after a 4-6 start would be good enough for me.
  4. I'm rooting for the Jets no matter what; it's better to end the season on a high note, even they don't make the playoffs. 6-10 won't get you a very high draft pick anyway.
  5. Ironic, isn't it? The only chance of Manning starting against the Jets, is if their still undefeated. And even if they are, they'd have home field wrapped up by then. If anything, this injury is a reminder to the Colts why they should bench Manning.
  6. Can someone please tell me that it's possible for Pittsburgh to lose to Cleveland, then beat Baltimore and Miami
  7. If JAX makes the playoffs, they could shock the whole conference. They'd be a Wild Card team, after all.
  8. Whether or not this is the beginning of another collapse, do you guys ever wonder if "The Streak" is contributing to Favre's performance? Like it's wearing him down. Same with Peyton Manning. He always (minus one year) breaks in the playoffs, and he's got the 2nd most consecutive games played or something.
  9. I don't care how unlikely our chances are. I'm following this team and scoreboard watching until the Jets lose another game.
  10. Too early to judge Henne, but I guess it's already too late for Sanchez. By the way, the Jets are not going to win the AFC East with a 2-4 divisional record. Root for New England. Wild Card is this team's only chance.
  11. The Jets need Edwards. Everyone else on this team catches that bomb, but nobody else catches that touchdown, nor are they a threat downfield. Bottom line, it's a wash.
  12. Teams we root for this week, in order of importance: Houston (5-6) @ Jacksonville (6-5) This is an easy one. Jets have the tiebreaker over Houston, Jacksonville has the tiebreaker over the Jets. Green Bay (7-4) vs. Baltimore (6-5) This is also a no-brainer. Only problem here is that a Ravens loss won't hurt their conference record. Also the MNF matchup. New England (7-4) @ Miami (5-6) Had the Jets swept Buffalo, it might be a different story. But the Jets have to hope that Miami loses, since they couldn't get the job done themselves. Oakland (3-8) @ Pittsburgh (6-5) Longshot, but the Jets need the Steelers to lose somewhere. Preferably to an AFC team, so their conference record suffers. Indianapolis (11-0) vs. Tennessee (5-6) Colts losing isn't that bad. Jets own the tiebreaker over the Titans, and Indy won't be playing for an undefeated season when they meet the Jets. Kansas City (3-8) vs. Denver (7-4) Why not; Broncos might end up being the 5 seed, but there's no harm in seeing another freed up Wild Card spot.
  13. Intercepting Delhomme doesn't count I hope he keeps up the good work though; he has the talent, after all.
  14. No Polamalu hurts for sure, but the Steelers losing to the Chiefs? That's embarrassing. By the way, was that an INT the refs missed?
  15. Anyone else keeping an eye on this game? I didn't expect this at all, but if it keeps the Jets playoff hopes alive, go Chiefs!
  16. If the Jets end up winning, I'm going to cringe even more at that humiliating loss to the Bills. Forget Miami and Jacksonville, that's the only game I want back.
  17. No way either go unbeaten in the regular season. Saints look real vulnerable all of a sudden, so I really believe they'll lose to the Pats. Colts will play a desperate Ravens team fighting for a playoff spot, so I think they'll lose this week.
  18. Yeah, because Brady to LeBron would definitely work.
