    1A) OJ Howard

    1B) Leonard Fournette

    No QB at 6 please!

If the jets select Oj howard I wouldnt be upset in the least. If the jets traded back to 12 with the browns so they can take there hometown kid trubisky and have us there second this year I wouldnt cry either. I would hope though the jets can get howard and then give mixon a chance in the third round.

we can agree that he is probably the most appealing RB in the draft... but that does not mean he is worth taking at #6.  Never.

Ok who you like? An inside line backer? Another DT? Or maybe a saftey? And watch mcown all fcking year handing the ball of to our stud rbs we have. Cmon man.. At some point you need to draft offensive playmakers.. That is a must.. they say our d was so bad last year and i agree..but alot of besides not beng able to cover a wr was that the d was on the field most of the time.

Well I disagree with you on Fournette, he is my 4th ranked RB behind Mixon, Cook, and McAff, and Kamara is close.  No need to waste a pick on a RB who forces your offense to run, run, pass, punt.  I'm sick of watching that offense, the league has changed the days of very big talented between the tackle RB's going top 10, heck even top 20 should be over.

Oh look mel kiper here..  he is your 4th ranked running back?!??!? Lol are you like alot of people that try and sound smart by going against ever scout, coach and talent evaluater? Please tell me why you have him ranked 4th? Have to hear this... my ranking would be

    Fournette

    Mixon

    Cook

    Mcaf

And another top 6 pick will have been wasted, and the roster will still be void of young difference maker type talent, when you can basically start Hack go 1-15, and possibly hit a home run with a Adams, or Hooker on defense, and still get Darnold.  How many picks does the GM get before getting fired?

He and the coach get this year and thats about it. Thats why I take fournette.once in a generation type player then have mcown drive us into the ground. And get darnold.

Whoever the Jets take at 6 overall has to start day 1 (unless injured), and if that player is Trubisky the Jets will go 1-15 at best believe me.  Now what do you do when the next Peyton Manning, and Andrew Luck NFL ready QB is starring you right in the face, pass on him because maybe Trubisky develops, MAYBE?

First answer for the other gentleman: Guden also loved russell wilson so who knows.

Now for you... who is the next peyton manning? Sam Darnold? Maybe.. and believe me if they go 1-15 and they have the first pick they will take darnold even with Trubisy there if they felt he was manning. Remember young jedi.. rookie contracts have changed.

I agree with that especially because without a QB teams will just stack the box against Fournette. I don't think he will go that highly (top 10) after his vertical leap btw.

Would you like to bet he goes 4th to the jags and doesnt make it past us? There pro comparisn for this guy is Bo Jackson.

Mitchell don't call me Mitch will 1. Not be available at 6, and 2. Thank goodness for that because he has Mark Sanchez, Blake Bortles written all over him.

Omg..I see things havent changed a bit. Stop comparing players with other players. Fournette =. Brandon Jacobs and Trubisky = Jake Locker lol Thats so stupid.. They are themselves and will be judged by there own play.  I want an offensive player no doubt but if adams drops I can live with that.  Thing is...the jets are going to be really bad next year so It would be nore attractive to me watching my rookie rb tear it up or my rookie qb getting better each game.

Btw for all the Gruden fans and his Qb camp crap.. watch the one he did with Hackenberg. He said and I quote.. This is a sure fire first round pick.

According to Chris Biderman, former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Quinton Patton has posted an instagram video to announce his signing with the New York Jets.

A former Louisiana Tech standout, Patton played just two seasons in Baton Rouge but posted impressive numbers, totalling 2,594 yards and 24 touchdowns in his time down south.

Chosen with the 31st pick in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL draft, Patton has been a disappointment with the 49ers, an organization that has been in shambles during that time.

In 40 pro contests (18 starts), Patton has 73 receptions for 880 yards and just 1 touchdown, but according to some next-gen stats, Patton’s lack of production hasn’t been a result of his inability to get open.  Take a look here to see just how often he’s getting away from opposing defenders.

  11. After many years traveling the globe I have found my way back to this site. I left off hoping and praying we would draft Darren Mcfadden which didnt work out as you know. But I have many sources that tell me if Leaonard Fournette gets past Jacksonville that will be the Jets Pick. If not then it will be Mitchell Trubisky.

Btw: Fournette does not equal Brandon Jacobs thats so stupid I should not have even commented but could not resist.  You dont pass on a once in a generation player like that. Well im back and maybe the old wars and fun and excitement this board used to be. Good to see the old timers still here and for the newbies... you will aquainted with me shortly.

  12. Darrelle Revis | FA

    (March 10, 2015 4:06 PM EDT)

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the "sense out of New England" is that free agent CB Darrelle Revis will sign with the Jets.

The Patriots will make a "final push," but the expectation is Revis is chasing the money to return to Gang Green. If true, the Patriots may lose both Revis and RCB Brandon Browner after New England declined Browner's option Tuesday afternoon. Once a suddenly strong secondary now needs a ton of work.

Klecko and JiF have been saturating the Jacksonville night life for over a decade now. (EWWWW) be careful and wear protection.

I like your use of the term "saturating."

I will soon be joining them...

  15. Isn't that Bjork the Icelandic singer?

From a tax perspective, NYS sucks. It drains your earnings through tax. Right now, almost 37% of my paycheck is eaten up by taxes. If I were to move to Florida, I would instantly save 12-13%. That 12-13% is a ton and has me thinking that sometime in the next 5-10 years, I should look to move to Florida. Due to my profession, I think Ft. Lauderdale/Miami is where I will end up...my cousin lives north of Miami and she loves it. The cost of living is better and quality of life is better. My major concerns are:

    1) Commute times - While there we were stuck in some major traffic jams.

    2) Electricity Costs - Because of the heat, I worry that the electric bills would eat away at the tax savings.

    3) Mosquitos - My mortal enemies. How do you guys deal with the skeeters?

    4) Water Bills - Same as #2.

    LL

I highly doubt the electric bill will eat up your increase.. you pay electric and water now.. how much more could,it possibly be? People out there do it on a lot less.. F the snow.. F the high taxes..F the nasty people F the whole rat race that is NY.. I wouldn't want to have grown up anywhere else.. but now time to make a move.. Hey NY is a wonderful place to visit..lol

Btw.. screen in patio is how everyine deals with those bugs lol.. I like Jax cause it will get cold down there.. so you have a little fall type weather every so often

  16. That looks amazing!

Its very nice.. Expensive but nice.. Depends on your lifestyle.. It has a roof top lounge area... can host parties up there... Walking distance to come clubs... I am not married so this fits me.. I wont stay there forever.. plus with the 400 a month I save in state and loca taxes a month.. rent drops to 1000 a month and for that money totally worth it.. If I found a 1 bedroom apt in brooklyn for 1000 a month.. it most certainly wouldnt look like that... lol   I am looking to get together with anyone from JAX to make a jet fan club... I spoke to Klecko already and we can easily take over some Bar down there..  Klecko is right and I will have him advise me on Jax.. He has been there for many years so he knows the area well..
