He had Braylon Edwards, Santonio Holmes, Jerricho Cotchery, Dustin Keller, some decent running backs and perhaps the best offensive line in the entire league. And he had a good defense, too, so there wasn't pressure to put up big time points. Other than an offensive head coach, he had almost everything you could ask for. Not only did he get a fair chance, he got much more in the way of a chance than he deserved.

I don't get the whole Hackenberg situation. He drafts him in the 2nd round - he knows he's a project, so that's almost like saying that he thinks he's a 1st round caliber player. Then he never even suits him up? 2 years and he doesn't even get a shot?

How is it even an incomplete pass per the stupid rule? That was more than slight movement?

I'm not sure how much any of this matters any more because we barely have a chance to get one of the top QBs, anyway.

Reasons I continue to watch the NFL: -Because sometimes a catch isn't a catch. Suspense! -Because I prefer my sports to have a 1:1:1 ratio of commercials to stoppages to actual play. -Because I get to watch millionaires mock the Star Spangled Banner because they're oppressed. -Because when COPS isn't on, I still get to watch criminals run really fast.

3 TD's today (yes, 3!) and each one of them you have to sit around and wait 2 minutes to find out if it stands. Unwatchable.

It's not the biggest deal in the world but seriously how do you run the ball at all there with less than 30 seconds left and no timeouts? Ludicrous.

If it's slight movement then it's a TD regardless. What they have to think in order to overturn that call is that it was clearly MORE than slight movement which is obviously not true. The call is RIDICULOUS.

Way too many penalties. This is year 3, they shouldn't be this out of control.

It's as if we're going to be the same 2-14 team that we expected to be but with a much lower draft pick. This is the worst.

Yeah he should be able to block those linebackers with one arm long enough to throw the ball with the other. We need youth at the QB position.

You know what I was thinking? Could we provide softer coverage on 3rd downs? I mean, sure, there's been at least one receiver wide open for 3 straight 3rd downs but why not 2 receivers, 3? How about a 3rd down look with no cornerbacks? Come on Todd, coach this team the way that only you know how. Vintage Bowles + Revis coverage!

2+ years and counting of this kind of coaching and clock management now. Rex got fired for a lack of discipline and poor clock management. Yet Bowles stays... why? At least Rex could scheme up a defense.
