One guy was catching passes from literally the best quarterback in the league. While the other was literally catching passes from the worst quarterback in the league. While the stats show similar production, Hardman was catching mostly accurate balls and was in a prolific offense that throws the ball a ton. Elijah Moore was playing in games where there may only be 12 to 15 completions. Hardman is not a very good route runner but is extremely athletic. Since Rogers loves to throw screens and at the line of scrimmage, he’ll be utilized on those plays and in the return game. Hardman isn’t a moore replacement.

Yet Elijah Moore had way more targets. That offense was Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce and some other guys. Last year it was Kelce and some other guys.

The catch rate difference doesn’t match the accuracy difference.

I think we won’t miss Elijah Moore. Receiving wise it’s a wash for me plus Hardman is a great returner.

    This is a win.

    Spitballing.

Let's say this drags out through the draft,  and Houston goes QB at 2 (seems like the consensus) what do you think Davis Mills might demand in trade.  They just brought Case Keenum in with $4 Million Guaranteed.  Sounds like a lot for a #3 QB.

I’d rather you actually spit on me

    You’re fantastic.

I completely understand what you’re saying but my main point is we are not going to have to go that far. If you ask me now would I trade 2 first rounders for back to back Super Bowls? hell yeah!!  But the Jets are not going to have to give up that much, so why do it ?

    Yeah I apologize

it’s all in the way the hypothetical is interpreted and approached

The only difference between sacks and QB hits is a tenth of a second, really. IMO, it's about that little tiny amount of extra speed. Lawson was still recovering from his achilles injury, so I think that probably slowed him down a little bit. He still got through the line more it seems or at least more enough to get the the QB. Expect Lawson to play much better next season with that slight bit of extra speed.

Lawson has always been more of a pressure guy than sack guy. There is absolutely no reason to believe this will change, which is fine if his recovery includes more pressures.

    QB1- Tannehill

    QB2- Marriota

    QB3- Zach Wilson

I don’t know what part of you they removed during the surgery but this, this should have been the part.

(Seriously though, I hope you’re doing well)

How is that any different from Parcells, Lafleur or Bellichek doing it. You realize that the best coaches pretty much are never the best players, right? JT Sullivan is excellent on his film breakdowns and was at least proficient at the pro level, unlike the aforementioned  coaches.

Let him evaluate 20 year olds
