Is Mark Sanchez really a MUCH better passer than Tebow?

No, why don't you explain it to me, genius. -

This is all semantic. Mark Sanchez is not, and has never been a MUCH better quarterback than anybody that starts in the NFL. The numbers just don't support that. The results definitely do not support this notion. MARGINALLY better, not much better. And that's just as a passer. We won't even talk about the rushing threat that Tebow is or the fact that HIS teammates don't throw ******* hissy fits because he sucks so much and loses football games single-handedly. The kid's not a leader, he's a coddled little bitch who's got a questionable work ethic and probably WILL ******* crumble in this situation. -

No, you did. You implied I was retarded like the passive aggressive jerkoff you probably are to somehow undermine my points while making none of your own. -

Why? Because it's not DEBATABLE that Sanchez is better than Tebow? Really? Tell me what I said that was stupid. The facts. Tell me which one of them doesn't make sense. -

Aesthetically, yeah. Especially when you look at how pretty he looks chasing defensive ******* linemen down the field after interceptions. He's beautiful. You would think that if he was MUCH better his passer rating would be more than five points better, his yards per attempt would be MUCH higher and his td to interception ratio would be better which it is not. I guess it all comes down to how you define MUCH. -

Dude, you have said nothing to refute my point. Instead, I responded to yours and you choose to call me retarded. You're brilliant. And also let me get this straight, five passer rating points is WAY bigger than three ******* FOOTBALL GAMES , right? -

Oh, wow, a one game sample taken from two different seasons. You subscribe to GQ, don't you? Because you conveniently forget 45-3 just three weeks earlier where Sanchez was a complete abortion. That's one game, of course it was only for the division, so maybe he wasn't very motivated that day. 26 td and 18 interceptions. You know, interceptions, like the one that gave the Broncos the game against us and the Dolphins and Giants to boot, do those count? And YOU'RE the one shaking your head? -

Lots of you hold this opinion, but the numbers indicate otherwise. Passer rating: Sanchez by a whopping five points thats not insignificant. So by your logic Drew Brees is MUCHHHH better passer than Tom Brady. Completion percentage: Sanchez by ten percentage points thats a lot. I can throw for a higher percentage too, just make none of my passes go further than two yards past the line of scrimmage. I'd KILL Sanchez and be up there with Aaron Rodgers. Yards per attempt: Dead EVEN - Yes, Sanchez blew him away in completion percentage but the yards per attempt number indicate that Tebow threw more downfield passes and less doinks off of guys facemasks (and completions) from five yards awayYPA, mark was sad. But the "doinks" off facemasks and such aren't his fault. They're not? If it's not the quarterbacks fault, then I guess I really did see Tom Brady do it as many time, Drew Brees too. Also, Tim Tebow has been an NFL quarterback for all of two seasons, starting 23 games and attempting 353 passes. Sanchez? 47 starts and 1414 attempts.Tebow played four years of college, Mark played one. Experience, doesn't really favor Mark. And Mark went to two AFC Championship games in his first two years. Don't get it twisted, Mark was TAKEN to the Championship games. Tebow took a team that was one and four and had them in the Divisional round of the playoffs. Shouldn't Sanchez be WAY better than Tebow at this point? All those drop backs and still no pocket presence and interceptions to defensive linemen. Mark has taken us further and is a winning quarterback. More than can be said about Tebow. Again, Mark has taken us nowhere, the Jets took Mark along for THEIR ride. And where did Mark take us last year?? I do however, know where he SENT us. ******* home. I think Sanchez is what he is, while Tebow at least has a chance to improve. Yeah, his delivery is goofy, but Sanchez has correctly formed his way to numbers only moderately better. And calling them moderately better is being generous. Who knows, Mark could get better.. doubt it, but he could. You're probably the only person to be saying that Tebow could get better. Yeah, you're right, I'm probably the only person to be thoughting of this thing that I be saying about. I think the idea that Sanchez is a much better thrower than Tebow is almost completely perception by many of the Sanchez fan club on this board.Almost all of us hate Mark including me. But as far as passing, and passing alone.. Mark is a thrower compared to big boy tebow. Yeah, and the results prove it, right? You're talking aesthetics, obviously? I also think we are most likely completely ****ed at the most important position in any sport. We aren't in a great spot, but we sure as sh*t are not last. Fifth from the bottom! Championship! -

Jonathan Stewart - What would you give up for him?
Gastineau Lives replied to Gastineau Lives's topic in NY Jets Forum
Good thing I started a Good thing I started the only non-Tebow thread on the board at the moment. -
Report: Panthers are open to trading Stewart According to Len Pasquarelli of The Sports Xchange, the Panthers will "definitely" listen to trade offers for Jonathan Stewart this offseason. After signing Mike Tolbert, the Panthers quickly put out word that Stewart wasn't on the trade block, perhaps for fear of losing leverage. Per Pasquarelli, however, the Steelers could be a "sleeper" to make a run at Stewart, and "everyone" has made the Broncos the favorite to acquire the versatile, 25-year-old back. Pasquarelli does concede "there hasn't been anything serious yet." Is it even feasible?

Yeah, and no dead baby jokes either. Matter of fact, no references to children at all, because you know, every time you mention one, somewhere one dies. Do opinions get you banned or just jokes?

One word. Fun.

I know! And Sanchez put up 13 points, too! How do you NOT win a game when you score THIRTEEN points?? Besides, looking back, Sanchez must have done a pretty damned good job of tackling since the Broncos scored 17 points on 229 yds of total offense. Dont be so hard on the Sanchize.
