  1. I understand that but here we are saying that reports about Pickens are "disturbing" and then you read said reports and it's vague and they actually dont reference anything other than anonymous quotes which are mainly opinions.
  2. Sure, 100% you factor that in and I'm not questioning that logic or necessarily questioning putting red flags on a player, if it's appropriate. I dont see how it's appropriate with Pickens. In general, I hate this tear down process predaft. It's become very obnoxious. Again, the example I used is just perplexing. Baker Mayfield is a verified sh*t head. A punk and not actually good at Football. He was an a$$hole on and off the field. There is video of him trying to run from the police after being detained for being a drunk a$$hole screaming "do you know who I am?". He went 1st overall and a lot of it had to do with his tough guy moxy and a fiery competitor. And here we are reading "red flags" about Pickens because wait for it....apparently, he's a fiery competitor who lost his cool a few times. lol
  3. Is that an indicator? I think it's just further proves my point, teams care about 1 thing and 1 thing only - can you ball. If the answer is yes, they overlook everything else. Except for some reason with the draft.
  4. First time in franchise history the Mets have won their first 6 series to start a season.
  5. This gentleman introduced me to Vulfpeck - IMO, Jacksonville's best guitar player, he plays a 7 string Benedetto, dude is amazing;
  6. So good, he's doing 3 shows in St. Augustine this weekend, catching Saturday and Sunday!
  7. He's a little vertical at the top and he doesnt really drop into the slot, more of a one plane. I'd like to see him get a little more flat at the top, get those hands more around the biceps, help him get in the slot and get more consistent contact. Looks like he kind of got lucky, just timed it right. The result doesnt look bad though, so lots to build on. That said, the finish leaves a lot to be desired.
  8. Love it. One of the most underappreciated Jets of all time.
  9. Good effort, appreciate it, I hate both but hate yours much more.
  10. So, like, there arent any actual red flags? Not too long ago a player who ran to the middle of the field and planted a flag on the opposing teams logo, was filmed grabbing his junk and yelling at the other team from the sideline, has footage of him running down the sideline giving his opponent the throat slice was taken 1st overall. Oh and hey guess what, that player is also on film wasted, trying to run from the police. But he had moxy and swagger!!!!!! The draft is legit, dumb. Like really dumb.
  11. For this, thank you! What are the "red flags" and "maturity" issues w/ George Perkins?
  12. It is surprising to me that a 20 year old has a lot of growing up to do. Shocking, actually. So very unheard of, not sure what to make of it.
  13. I couldnt help but sitting there saying to myself, poor Scherzer, welcome to the Mets. lol
  14. That was ******* epic. Typically I turn it off once the blown save happens but for some reason, I kept watching. 2 out rallying, 5 runs in the bottom of the 9th? Wow, not sure I've ever witnessed that from the Mets
  15. @Jets Voice of Reason here is what I love about this dude. I'm going to first show you tape to dispute your silly "physicality" comment. Peep this dude as a freshman. Hard to bring down. Shocking when you watch this game and know his size but also, pay attention to time and down and distance. He pretty much won this game. Same thing here. Game winning catch, freshman, peep the adjustment. Toughness? How dare you question this man. He did even have to play in this game Love this game. All over the field. Doing it all. Methodical move the chains to big plays. This one doesnt pop out in the box score, a good, not great day but he shows it all once again. My favorites are the adjustment he makes on the sideline, the all out dive on the throw back and then his play down the stretch fighting over and over and over again for 1st downs, showing physicality, show toughness, showing the nuances he understands as a WR;
  16. *puts condom on* I think you need to check his physicality. He has no fear and is not afraid to be physical at all. He had more carries as a RB than he did catches as a WR at Nebraska. Which is one of the reasons he transferred and proceed to break Kentucky's single season reception record. In comparison to Deebo, he carried the ball 141 times vs. 25 times. Not sure why you'd be worried about physicality knowing that fact. Specifically what do I like? Everything. Other than size, I dont know what's not to like. He does it all as a WR and he's a one touch threat. He's the shiftiest player in the draft, he's one of the most productive (caught more receptions than any other WR in the draft last year). He test out athletically and he's polished, nuanced WR. I really love his tape, I'll post a few in my thread in the draft forum and take the conversation there not to dominate this thread w/ vids and jizz.
  17. Fair enough. I guess they technically could use IOL help, even though the signed Sherff in the offseason and one of the few positions they actually have depth at is T but idk, could happen. Squeeze tight!
  18. Super fun thread though, dick. We agree on a few. Best Value: Wan'Dale Robinson!!!!!!!!!!! Darian Beavers Dameon Pierce David Ojabo George Perkins Channing Tindall Jalani Woods Zamir White Devonte Wyatt Derek Stingley Worst Value: Kyle Hamilton Travon Walker Drake London Jameson Williams Nakobe Dean Sam Howell Matt Corral
  19. Seems pretty obvious to me when the Jags franchised Cam Robinson they decided who their LT was going to be this year. They also love, Walker Little, who they took 45th overall last year and I'm pretty sure they plan on playing him at RT and using 2019 35th overall pick Jawan Taylor, RT, who has played every snap since being draft as their immediate/swing T. I dont know. I'll admit, it's a hard draft to predict. I have no clue how this thing is going to go down but the Jags taking Hutch or Walker feels like a lock.
