Fact.  It is terrible.  Are you watching this "prime time" game?  PVO is only a Jets thing, except when it's not.  lol

I just don't agree with this at all. Teams stack the box against the Jets and if you do 12 personnel you just allow the opposing defense to have another run stuffer in the lineup and formations are very limited in 12.  Green Bay can run a lot of 12 because they fear the QB. Until we can get 8 or 9 out of the box, going run heavy 12 is just leading to a ton of 3 and outs. Come out in 11 and force the other team to play nickel and be balanced on 1st down and take some shots downfield. Once they get out of stuffing the box you can run more.

Nobody is scared of Joe Flacco.  This strategy is suicide.

If/when Joe Flacco goes out there and stinks today, remember that the only reason Joe Flacco is playing is because the organization is consciously choosing to hide Zach Wilson away from a tough defense.

It's truly undefendable but then again, I'm positive we see Mike White today.  This just screams like a game where the corpse of Flacco waves the white flag and suddenly feels pain in his throwing shoulder.

  4. So hard to get excited about watching the corpse of Flacco but if the Jets can just shut down the run and force Jacoby Brissett to win the game, they have a chance.  I know the Jets have all these sexy talented WR's but we need to see a ton of 12 personnel from Lil Mikey, get the TE's involved, keep them home to protect the corpse of Flacco and get them involved in the running game, taking on 2nd level defenders.

I was watching the game last week with @maury77 and it was like all the of mental concerns i had with Richardson were on full display. He is who I think is, sadly.

Didn’t get to watch tonight.  That bad?

All the offsesason hype, the great orange and blue game, conversations with his QB coach, Denny Thompson, this was not what was advertised, he was supposedly becoming a polished passer but he's an absolute train wreck.   I have no idea what or why there was so much hype other than he's a seemingly a great kid and total freak of an athlete.  He shows zero and I mean zero ability to pass the Football consistently.  He just cant see the field.  Utah played a lot of man, and he'll kill you in man.  They werent very disciplined and left large spaces unoccupied and he ate them alive.  But, Stoops showed the league and the word is out now, drop back into a zone, stay disciplined in your lane and make him figure out where the opening is, he's toast.  That said, he still gives you those, wow throws, where you think, it's in their moments but at what cost do you commit to figuring it out and making it about him?  This isn the NFL.

And Napier seems hell bent on proving he's more.  If the kid cant consistently pass the ball vs. USF, we got a problem.  At some point for the sake of the program you have to come to the realization, he's a terrible passer so run that big mofo and just beat teams down w/ the strength of the team, the OL.  They averaged 8 yard per carry yesterday and they get down the goalline and let Richardson check out of a run and throw a sh*tty fade that ends up being an INT.  You cant have that sh*t.  He should be running the ball 15 times a game, get him some confidence and see if that opens things up.  They also run a lot static pockets, which is confusing, let the big man move and get in space, read one side of the field, if its not there, take off.  I'm trying not be critical of Napier, he's brand new but at some point I think he needs to figure out, what's more important, winning 9 games or developing Richardson at the cost of losing, a lot?

Side note; Trevor Etienne is a star in the making, if Napier doesnt want to lose him in the portal, he's going to need to get more than 8 touches a game.
