Your negativity plays a major factor, for sure.

You dont have to convince me, I said he was a priority resign. Zach loves him, he's a 3rd down beast, he's versatile and I could easily take over Jamison Crowder's role in the offense. Would shock me if he led the team in receptions and/or yards from scrimmage.

Braxton Berrios is going to lead the NFL in receptions.
Ok, maybe not but he will definitely lead the NFL in sexiness.

We knew June was going to be a rough schedule longest road trip of season is over so lets start a winning streak to match Atlanta who is red hot but beating a lot of sub 500 teams
They dont even need a win streak like that, they just need to go back to winning series.
Be really cool to this team with their full pitching staff.

The 2:26 mark brings a smile to my face.
It's happened. They've done it. The Jets got it right. Top to bottom. Just have patience. Greatness is on it's way.

Stranger Things is solid this season. Just great story telling. Really ties a lot together. And as usual, the amount of epic references is all time this season, like they have so much hidden 80's sh*t all around on almost each scene it's wild.
The one I picked up on the other day, is when Dustin was using the phone to call Steve as a sub in their D&D game, this line, was fully on display on top of the phone booth, I was dying:

I enjoyed Hustle. We were looking for something light hearted and it delivered. A very enjoyable story.

Huh, it's weird because it was almost like I would like every other song.
I guess for me it's kind of a hit or miss band no offense.
Some of it I like and some...I don't dislike but I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to either.
They remind me a little bit of Weezer which I am also hit or miss with.
No offense taken, you like what you like, I tried to give you a variety, this a deep track. They have a bunch more that are probably a little more of their iconic sound, more popular songs that I didnt share but I personally love "Letter to Memphis" - just a fun little tune.

Agreed. Love Zappa's guitar playing but his songs with lyrics are generally too "out there". I'll throw this out there for a JB recommendation (I'm torn between a few and the one I just posted but deleted was strangely cut off at the height of the song.)
Pretty good, clearly very talented. Sounds like Radiohead. And like Radiohead, a few songs I like and in the right moment can really feel it but for the most part just doesnt register for me.

@TuscanyTile2 sorry, Bum got me side tracked.
A band I've dived into recently who is really much more complex and out there than I thought is Siouxsie and the Banshees. I obviously knew of their hits and some of their big covers that hit the charts but some of their early stuff is incredible.

And if we're going there, might as well through out the all time bass line:

Last one (for now):
Frank Zappa? (And I'm really referring to the instrumentals)
Jeff Buckley?
How can you not like what Zappa does when he improvs? It's incredible but his song writing? Way too out there and just down right silly for me to ever get into. I respect his talent though and you can get lost in his playing, for sure.
Buckley, never registered honestly. Just his sound never caught my ear.

I'm right there with you on The Smiths. One of the all time great bands, imo. I agree with basically everything you wrote. I'm pretty sure we're on the same page musically. Please keep posting songs you like, no matter how obscure.
Out of curiosity, do you like The Strokes? My Bloody Valentine?
How about The Sundays? I only am into a handful of their songs but they remind me so much of The Smiths.
The Strokes are fire. I even love Julian Casablancas solo stuff.
The Sundays are ok, I mean, give me some Harriet Wheeler all day but they're a mode listen or kind of a, oh yeah, this is a good tune but not a sound I seek out. Similarly w/ My Bloody Valentine. They're like the English version of Sonic Youth, in a way. Again, both mode listens. I enjoy the sound, lots of songs but it's not a go to grab for me in my library.

TV Series (Opinions, Recommendations, Flaming, etc) ***BEWARE POSSIBLE SPOILERS***

I didnt realize they were doing a movie, that makes me appreciate the ending a little more because honestly, I finished it last night and was pissed! lmfao. To finish the show like that and leaving so much unanswered was such a let down after so much build up all season long. You knew he was setting up the long game for the family. I legit, was like wait, what, that's it? As I was fully expecting another episode to start.
Overall, it was a great season, even though it was definitely a slower burn IMO than seasons past but I understood why. They writing off an epic character which led to just an incredible performance by Cillian Murphy. His ability to display the torment and pain that he was going through. Like, the scene where he finds out Ruby is sick, OMG, so intense. I could feel it. That said, when they threw the curve ball with so little time left in the season and him riding away on a White horse, not Black, I was like, wtf??!!!! How could you do this!?!?!?! Now it makes sense though, I'm not sure how I feel about all these shows using movies to close the loop. The beauty of the series it the ability to really dive into the character development and storyline and while sure, it's happened at this point, the movie route always feels a little forced and rushed. Wish they would have just done the 2 part thingy and had 4 more to close it out.
Overall, a fantastic series, definitely a top 10 all time for me, for sure.
